Ulefone Note 19

The Ulefone Note 19 has a conventional, non-folding design without any rugged reinforcement or water resistance rating. It measures 163.2 x 75.2 x 8.8 mm with a volume of approximately 108 cm³ and tips the scales at 192 g. While it lacks weatherproofing, the device stands out in repairability, earning a French Repairability Index score of 9.6, which indicates it is designed to be relatively straightforward to service and maintain.

The Ulefone Note 19 features a 6.56″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a pixel density of 269 ppi. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, meaning color and contrast capabilities stay within standard range. There is no Always-On Display function or secondary screen, keeping the panel setup straightforward and uncomplicated.

The Ulefone Note 19 is powered by the Unisoc Tiger T603 chipset, built on a 12 nm process with a 9W TDP and integrated LTE. The octa-core CPU runs across 12 threads using big.LITTLE architecture with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing, clocked at 2 x 1.8 GHz and 6 x 1.6 GHz, and the chip supports 64-bit computing along with ARM TrustZone security. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali-G57 MP1 GPU with a single execution unit running at 650 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0. The device comes with 3GB of DDR4 RAM at 1600 MHz and 32GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with the platform supporting a maximum memory configuration of up to 8GB. Cache is distributed across 128 KB of L1, 2 MB of L2, and 1 MB of L3.

The Ulefone Note 19 features a single-lens 8 MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a CMOS sensor, capable of recording video at 1440 x 30 fps with continuous autofocus during recording and slow-motion support, though it lacks optical image stabilization, a BSI sensor, and optical zoom. For focusing, it relies on phase-detection autofocus alongside touch autofocus, but does not include laser autofocus. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, and the camera also supports HDR mode, burst shooting, and in-camera panoramas, while RAW capture, manual shutter speed, 360-degree panorama, HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, and 3D capture are all absent. A single LED flash is present on the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash option. On the front, a 5 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture handles selfies — it is a single-lens setup with no front flash and is not positioned under the display.

The Ulefone Note 19 runs Android 14, a free and open-source platform that supports multiple user accounts and includes on-device machine learning alongside offline voice recognition and voice commands. Privacy-conscious users will find camera and microphone access controls, location privacy options, clipboard warnings, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking protection and Mail Privacy Protection are not present. The OS covers a solid range of usability features including dark mode, dynamic and manual theme customization, customizable notifications with a media picker, full-page scrolling screenshots, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, sharing intents, a child lock, battery health check, and an extra dim mode. Games can be played while downloading, and the device supports phone tracking and sharing intents, but focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, app offloading, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not available. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not provided on this model.

The Ulefone Note 19 is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery that supports fast charging at 10W, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is built in for convenient monitoring, but the battery is not removable and wireless charging is not supported.

The Ulefone Note 19 includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a built-in radio, covering the basics for wired listening. Speaker output is limited to a single channel, as stereo speakers are not present. On the wireless audio side, the device does not support any high-quality Bluetooth codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.

The Ulefone Note 19 connects via Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Bluetooth 4.2, with cellular support for two SIM cards and maximum download and upload speeds of 300 Mbits/s and 150 Mbits/s respectively, though 5G is not supported. The device uses a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0 and does not include an external memory slot, NFC, or HDMI output. For location, it supports GPS and Galileo, and an accelerometer is present, while a compass, gyroscope, barometer, and any form of motion or optical tracking are all absent. Security and biometric options are limited, as there is no fingerprint scanner, 3D facial recognition, or iris scanner, and no stylus is included. Additional features such as crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, ANT+, a heart rate monitor, an infrared sensor, DLNA certification, and a built-in projector are likewise not available.

The Ulefone Note 19 includes a video light for use during video recording, while the display is flat and standard in nature — there is no curved panel, sapphire glass, or e-paper screen.
