It carries an IP53 rating, meaning it offers a degree of protection against dust and water splashes, though it is not built to rugged standards.

The Umidigi Note 100 5G features a 6.8″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 px and a pixel density of 258 ppi. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion, backed by a 240Hz touch sampling rate for more responsive input. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Always-On Display functionality, nor does it have a secondary screen.

The Umidigi Note 100 5G is powered by the Unisoc T765 chipset, built on a 6 nm process and configured with two cores clocked at 2.3 GHz and six cores at 2.1 GHz using big.LITTLE technology. It comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM running at 2133 MHz — expandable up to 10GB — alongside 256GB of internal storage, and records an AnTuTu benchmark score of 408,601. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G57 MC2 GPU clocked at 850 MHz, while the SoC also integrates LTE and supports 64-bit processing.

The Umidigi Note 100 5G features a triple rear camera system led by a 50 MP main sensor, accompanied by two 2 MP auxiliary lenses, all using a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination or optical image stabilization. The main camera supports phase-detection autofocus for photos, continuous autofocus during video, touch autofocus, and a range of manual controls including exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is not available. Video recording tops out at 1080p at 30 fps, with slow-motion recording also supported, but HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not. The Umidigi Note 100 5G is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 20W wired fast charging, with a charger included in the box. Wireless charging is not available.
