The Urban Vibe follow a neckband design, sitting around the neck rather than operating as fully wire-free earbuds. Wingtips are included to help secure the earbuds in place during use, and stereo speakers are built in for dual-channel audio. On the durability side, the earbuds carry an IPX6 ingress protection rating and are rated as sweat resistant, offering a reasonable level of protection against moisture during physical activity.
The Urban Vibe support both active noise cancellation (ANC) and passive noise reduction, giving them two layers of sound isolation from the surrounding environment. The frequency response spans from 20 Hz to 20000 Hz, covering the full range of standard human hearing. The drivers do not use a neodymium magnet.
The Urban Vibe are equipped with a rechargeable battery rated at 15 hours of playback, and a battery level indicator is included so you can keep track of remaining charge at a glance. Charging is handled via a wired connection, as the earbuds do not support wireless charging.
The Urban Vibe can be used wirelessly and offer a maximum Bluetooth range of 10 meters. They charge via USB Type-C, though the connection is wired-only as NFC pairing and fast pairing are not supported. On the audio codec side, the earbuds do not support AAC, LDAC, LDHC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, or aptX Voice.
The Urban Vibe include an ambient sound mode for situational awareness and a mute function for quick silencing during calls or meetings. They can be used as a headset and feature voice prompts along with a control panel placed on the device itself, though there is no in-line control panel. Fast charging is supported, which helps reduce downtime when the battery runs low. The earbuds do not have in/on-ear detection, a find device feature, a body temperature sensor, or an included travel bag.
The Urban Vibe are fitted with four microphones, and the setup includes noise-canceling microphone technology to help reduce background interference during calls and voice use.
