It carries an IP54 rating, meaning it offers protection against dust and water splashes, though it does not have a rugged build and cannot be folded. The iQOO Neo9 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260×2800 pixels at 453 ppi, delivering a sharp and dense image across its curved panel. The screen runs at a 144Hz refresh rate with a 300Hz touch sampling rate, and the contrast ratio is rated at 8,000,000:1. HDR10 and HDR10+ are both supported, while Dolby Vision is not. An always-on display mode is available, and the panel is a standard touchscreen without a secondary screen. Branded damage-resistant glass is not included on this model.

The iQOO Neo9 Pro is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 9300, a 4 nm chipset built on a big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support, featuring one core at 3.25 GHz, three cores at 2.85 GHz, and four cores at 2 GHz across 8 threads, with a 7W TDP and 22,700 million transistors. It is paired with 16GB of DDR5 RAM at 9600 MHz — expandable up to 24GB — and 1TB of internal storage, with a maximum memory bandwidth of 76.8 GB/s. The integrated Mali G720 Immortalis MP12 GPU runs at 1300 MHz and supports DirectX 12 and OpenCL 2. Cache configuration includes 1 MB of L2 and 18 MB of L3. In benchmarks, the chipset scores 2239 single-core and 7538 multi-core in Geekbench 6, 2,334,911 in AnTuTu, and 812 in 3DMark Steel Nomad, with LTE integrated directly into the SoC.

The iQOO Neo9 Pro features a dual rear camera system with two 50MP sensors, offering apertures of f/2.0 and f/1.9, paired with a CMOS sensor, optical image stabilization, and a combination of phase-detection, laser, and touch autofocus. Continuous autofocus during video recording is supported, as are slow-motion video, HDR mode, timelapse, burst mode, and in-camera panoramas. Manual controls extend to exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed, RAW capture, and 360-degree panorama shooting are not available. The single LED flash is not dual-tone or RGB. The 16MP front camera sits at f/2.5 and is mounted in the standard position — not under the display — with no front-facing flash and a single-lens setup. 3D photo and video recording is not supported.

The iQOO Neo9 Pro runs on Android 14 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not available. The software supports dynamic theming, theme customization, dark mode, and an extra dim mode for display comfort, while focus modes and app offloading are not included. Productivity features cover split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, sharing intents, widgets, and the ability to play games while they download. On-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, and voice commands are supported, and the system functions as a multi-user platform with phone tracking and a child lock. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not provided, Wi-Fi password sharing is absent, and Quick Start is not available.

The iQOO Neo9 Pro is equipped with a 5160 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 120W wired fast charging, with a charger included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, and the battery is non-removable. Wireless charging is not supported on this model.

The iQOO Neo9 Pro includes stereo speakers for audio output but does not have a 3.5 mm headset jack, so wired headphones require an adapter. For wireless audio, aptX HD is supported, while standard aptX, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent. There is no built-in radio on this device.

The iQOO Neo9 Pro supports 5G connectivity with download speeds up to 10,000 Mbits/s and upload speeds up to 7,000 Mbits/s, and accommodates two SIM cards. The iQOO Neo9 Pro features a curved display and includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The screen does not use sapphire glass and is not an e-paper panel.
