The Vivo iQOO Neo9s Pro Plus features a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 px and a pixel density of 453 ppi, backed by a 144Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate for highly responsive input. The display offers a contrast ratio of 8,000,000:1, supports both HDR10 and HDR10+, and includes an Always-On Display mode, though Dolby Vision is not supported. There is no secondary screen, and the panel does not use branded damage-resistant glass.

The Vivo iQOO Neo9s Pro Plus runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset fabricated on a 4 nm process, with an 8-thread CPU using big.LITTLE architecture and HMP, reaching peak clock speeds of 3.3 GHz, alongside a 12.5W TDP and TrustZone security. Customization options include dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, though focus modes, app offloading, Wi-Fi password sharing, and Quick Start are absent. On the usability side, the OS supports split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, Live Text, and the ability to play games while still downloading them. Additional capabilities include on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, phone tracking, multi-user support, a child lock, and battery health monitoring, though direct OS vendor updates and PC mode are not supported.

The Vivo iQOO Neo9s Pro Plus is equipped with a 5500 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery with a battery level indicator, and comes with a charger included in the box. It supports 120W wired fast charging, though wireless charging is not available.

The Vivo iQOO Neo9s Pro Plus includes stereo speakers and supports a comprehensive range of Bluetooth audio codecs: aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all present, covering both high-quality and lossless wireless audio transmission. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack and no built-in radio.
