Vivo S18 Pro

The Vivo S18 Pro has a non-folding, standard-form design measuring 164.4 mm tall, 75.1 mm wide, and just 7.5 mm thick, with a total volume of 92.5983 cm³ and a weight of 188 g. It carries an IP54 rating, meaning it offers a degree of protection against dust and water splashes, though it is not built to rugged standards.

The Vivo S18 Pro features a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 px and a pixel density of 453 ppi, delivering sharp and detailed visuals. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth on-screen motion and includes an Always-On Display mode, though it does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and does not feature branded damage-resistant glass or a secondary screen.

The Vivo S18 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus SoC, built on a 4 nm process with 17 million transistors and an octa-core, 8-thread CPU configuration using big.LITTLE technology with HMP support, running at speeds of 1 x 3.35, 3 x 3, and 4 x 2 GHz. It comes with 16 GB of DDR5 RAM at 8533 MHz — expandable up to a maximum of 24 GB — alongside 512 GB of internal storage and an 8 MB L3 cache. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G715 Immortalis MP11 GPU clocked at 980 MHz, with support for DirectX 12 and OpenCL 2.0, while the SoC also integrates LTE, supports 64-bit processing, and includes a turbo clock speed of 2 GHz.

The Vivo S18 Pro features a triple rear camera system with 50, 50, and 12 MP sensors at apertures of f/1.9, f/2, and f/2 respectively, backed by optical image stabilization, 2x optical zoom, and a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus as well as continuous autofocus during video, though laser autofocus is absent. Video recording reaches up to 2160p at 30 fps with slow-motion support, and manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while manual shutter speed and RAW capture are not available. Additional shooting modes include HDR, burst mode, panorama, and timelapse. On the front, a 50 MP single-lens camera with an f/2 aperture sits in a standard position above the display — not under it — and lacks a dedicated flash. The rear flash is a standard single-tone unit, with no dual-tone, RGB, or 3D imaging capabilities.

The Vivo S18 Pro runs Android 14 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering location access, camera and microphone permissions, clipboard warnings, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not present. Customization options are well covered, with dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications all supported, while focus modes and app offloading are not available. Productivity is aided by split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, Live Text, and the ability to play games while they download. The device also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, multi-user accounts, a child lock, battery health check, extra dim mode, and phone tracking, but does not support Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, or direct OS vendor updates, and cannot be used as a PC.

The Vivo S18 Pro is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 80W wired fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. Wireless charging is not available. The device features a battery level indicator, making it straightforward to keep track of remaining charge.

The Vivo S18 Pro does not include a 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, or a radio. For wireless audio, it supports a broad range of Bluetooth codecs, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and LDAC, though aptX Lossless is not available.

The Vivo S18 Pro offers a well-rounded connectivity package, with 5G support, Wi-Fi 4 through Wi-Fi 7 (802.11n/ac/ax/be), Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC, alongside a dual-SIM cellular module. It connects via USB Type-C at USB 2.0 speeds and does not include an external memory slot, HDMI output, or DLNA certification. For navigation and motion sensing, the device includes GPS with Galileo support, a gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass, while a barometer, infrared sensor, ANT+, and heart rate monitor are absent. Security is handled by a fingerprint scanner, with no iris scanner or 3D facial recognition on board. Features such as crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, a built-in projector, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a stylus are also not present.

The Vivo S18 Pro features a curved display and includes a video light, while it does not have a sapphire glass screen or an e-paper display.
