Vivo S18e

It holds an IP54 rating, offering a degree of protection against dust ingress and water splashes, though it is not built to rugged standards.

The Vivo S18e features a 6.67″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 px and a pixel density of 395 ppi, delivering clear and vibrant visuals. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and motion, and includes an Always-On Display mode for at-a-glance information. The screen does not feature branded damage-resistant glass, and HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision are not supported. There is no secondary screen.

The Vivo S18e is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, manufactured on a 4 nm process, featuring an octa-core CPU with two cores running at 2.8 GHz and six at 2 GHz, with support for big.LITTLE technology, multithreading, 64-bit processing, integrated LTE, and TrustZone security. Graphics are managed by the integrated Mali G610 MP4 GPU clocked at 850 MHz. The device comes with 12 GB of DDR5 RAM — expandable up to a maximum of 16 GB — alongside 512 GB of internal storage. In Geekbench 6 testing, the chipset achieved a single-core score of 1187 and a multi-core score of 2643.

The Vivo S18e has a dual rear camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor at f/2.4 and a 2 MP secondary sensor at f/1.8, supported by optical image stabilization, a CMOS sensor, phase-detection autofocus, and touch autofocus, though laser autofocus and back-side illumination are absent. There is no optical zoom available. Video recording reaches up to 2160p at 30 fps with continuous autofocus and slow-motion support, and manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while manual shutter speed and RAW capture are not supported. Shooting modes include HDR, burst mode, panorama, and timelapse, though 360-degree panorama and 3D recording are not available. The rear flash is a standard single-tone unit with no dual-tone or RGB options. On the front, a 16 MP single-lens camera at f/2 sits in a conventional above-display position without an under-screen placement or dedicated flash.

The Vivo S18e runs Android 14 and comes with a solid set of privacy features, including location access controls, camera and microphone permissions, clipboard warnings, and app tracking blocking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not included. For personalization, it supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and app offloading are not available. Day-to-day usability is supported through split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, and Live Text, and games can be played while downloading. The device also includes on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, multi-user support, a child lock, battery health check, extra dim mode, and phone tracking, but does not offer Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, direct OS vendor updates, or the ability to be used as a PC.

The Vivo S18e houses a 4800 mAh non-removable rechargeable battery with support for 80W wired fast charging, and an charger is included in the box. Wireless charging is not supported. A battery level indicator is present, making it easy to monitor remaining charge at a glance.

The Vivo S18e omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, and a radio. For wireless audio, it supports aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and LDAC, covering a wide range of high-quality Bluetooth codec options, though aptX Lossless is not available.

The Vivo S18e supports 5G connectivity alongside Wi-Fi 4, 5, and 6 (802.11n/ac/ax), Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC, with a dual-SIM cellular module and a maximum download speed of 4700 MBits/s. It connects via USB Type-C at USB 2.0 speeds and does not include an external memory slot, HDMI output, or DLNA certification. For location and motion sensing, it offers GPS with Galileo support, a gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass, while a barometer, infrared sensor, ANT+, and heart rate monitor are not present. Device security is covered by a fingerprint scanner, with no iris scanner or 3D facial recognition available. Features such as crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, a built-in projector, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a stylus are also absent.

The Vivo S18e includes a video light and features a flat display, as it does not have a curved screen. It also lacks sapphire glass protection and an e-paper display.
