It carries an IP68 ingress protection rating, classifying it as waterproof against dust and water immersion. The device does not feature a rugged build, keeping its construction oriented toward a conventional smartphone form factor.

The Vivo S19 Pro features a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 px and a pixel density of 453 ppi, delivering a sharp and detailed visual experience. The panel operates at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 300Hz touch sampling rate, and supports both HDR10 and HDR10+ for expanded dynamic range, though Dolby Vision is not supported. A contrast ratio of 8,000,000:1 further defines the display's depth, and the Always-On Display feature keeps select information visible at all times. The screen does not use branded damage-resistant glass and there is no secondary screen. Dolby Vision playback is not available on this display.

The Vivo S19 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset, built on a 4 nm process with 17 million transistors and an 8-thread CPU configuration using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support. The CPU runs at speeds of 1 x 3.35 GHz, 3 x 3 GHz, and 4 x 2 GHz, with a turbo clock of 2 GHz, while the Mali G715 Immortalis MP11 GPU operates at 980 MHz and supports DirectX 12 and OpenCL 2. The chipset includes integrated graphics and integrated LTE, is 64-bit compatible, and supports a maximum memory amount of 24 GB. The device comes with 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 8533 MHz and 512 GB of internal storage, rounded out by an 8 MB L3 cache for efficient data access.

The Vivo S19 Pro features a multi-lens rear camera system with three sensors — two at 50 MP (f/1.9) and one at 8 MP (f/2.2) — accompanied by optical image stabilization, 2x optical zoom, and a CMOS sensor. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus with continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is absent. Video capture reaches up to 2160p at 30 fps, with slow-motion recording also supported, while HDR10 recording and Dolby Vision recording are not available. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, and shooting modes include burst, panorama, and timelapse; raw capture is not supported. The rear flash is present but neither dual-tone nor RGB. On the front, a single 50 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture handles selfies — it is a single-lens setup, sits above the display rather than beneath it, and does not have a dedicated flash.

The Vivo S19 Pro runs Android 14 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera/microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are absent. Users have access to theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode for display comfort, while focus modes and app offloading are not available. The OS supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and phone tracking, alongside practical features like split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, and Live Text. Notification handling is flexible with both notification permissions and customizable notifications, and the system accommodates multiple users, a child lock, widgets, sharing intents, and a battery health check. Games can be played while downloading, and the OS is free and open source; however, direct OS vendor updates, Wi-Fi password sharing, and Quick Start are not supported.

The Vivo S19 Pro is equipped with a 5500 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 80W wired fast charging, with a charger included in the box. A battery level indicator is present for monitoring charge status. The battery is not removable, and wireless charging is not supported.

The Vivo S19 Pro includes stereo speakers and supports a wide range of Bluetooth audio codecs, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and LDAC, though aptX Lossless is not available. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack and no built-in radio.

The Vivo S19 Pro supports 5G connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, with wireless networking spanning Wi-Fi 4 through Wi-Fi 7 (802.11n/ac/ax/be). Bluetooth 5.3 is on board alongside NFC, a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, and GPS with Galileo satellite support. The device does not support 3D facial recognition, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, DLNA, HDMI output, motion or optical tracking, and no stylus is included. External memory expansion is also not available.

The Vivo S19 Pro features a curved display and includes a video light, while it does not use sapphire glass or an e-paper display.
