Vivo S30 Pro Mini

One of its more notable physical attributes is its IP68 rating, which classifies it as fully waterproof and provides solid protection against dust and water ingress. The device does not feature a rugged build, so while its water resistance is well-rated, it is not designed to meet ruggedized standards.

The Vivo S30 Pro Mini uses an OLED/AMOLED touchscreen panel measuring 6.31″ with a resolution of 1216 x 2640 px and a pixel density of 461 ppi, resulting in a sharp and detailed image. The display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a typical brightness of 1,300 nits, backed by a contrast ratio of 8,000,000:1 that is characteristic of OLED technology. It supports Always-On Display and is protected by branded damage-resistant glass, while HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision are not supported. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The Vivo S30 Pro Mini is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 9300 Plus, a 4 nm chipset housing 22,700 million transistors with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at speeds of 1 x 3.4, 3 x 2.85, and 4 x 2 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support. Graphics are handled by the integrated Arm Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU clocked at 1,300 MHz, supporting DirectX 12 and OpenGL ES 3.2 via OpenCL 2. The device comes with 16GB of DDR5 RAM running at 4,800 MHz across 2 memory channels, delivering a maximum memory bandwidth of 76.8 GB/s, with the chipset supporting up to 24GB of memory in total; 512GB of internal storage is included. Cache is organized as 8 MB L2 and 18 MB L3, and the SoC includes integrated LTE. Benchmark results show an AnTuTu score of 2,136,863, a Geekbench 6 single-core score of 2,302, and a multi-core score of 7,547. The chipset supports 64-bit processing, though hardware-level multithreading is not present.

The Vivo S30 Pro Mini features a triple-lens rear camera system with sensors at 50, 50, and 8 MP and apertures of f/1.9, f/2.7, and f/2.2 respectively, covering a focal range from 23 mm to 70 mm with 3x optical zoom. The main camera uses a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination and is equipped with optical image stabilization, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is absent. Video capture reaches up to 2160p at 30 fps, with slow-motion recording supported, while HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not available. For still photography, the camera offers a broad manual control set including exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, as well as burst mode, HDR mode, panorama, and timelapse; manual shutter speed and RAW capture are not supported, nor is 360-degree panorama. A single LED flash is present at the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash. The 50 MP front camera sits at f/2.0, is a single-lens unit positioned above the display rather than under it, and has no dedicated flash.

The Vivo S30 Pro Mini runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera/microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are absent. On the customization side, the OS supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and Quick Start are not available. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, Live Text, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. The system also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, multi-user accounts, app offloading, a child lock, battery health monitoring, an extra dim display mode, and device position tracking. OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor, and the device cannot function as a PC; Wi-Fi password sharing is likewise not supported.

The Vivo S30 Pro Mini houses a 6,500 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 90W fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present for monitoring charge status. The battery is not removable, and wireless charging is not supported.

The Vivo S30 Pro Mini includes stereo speakers and supports both aptX and aptX HD for higher-quality Bluetooth audio transmission, though LDAC, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless are not available. The device does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, so wired audio relies on the USB-C port. There is no built-in radio tuner.

The Vivo S30 Pro Mini supports 5G connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, with download speeds reaching 10,000 Mbit/s and upload speeds of 7,000 Mbit/s. Crash detection and emergency SOS via satellite are not available, nor is DLNA certification, an iris scanner, or a built-in projector, and no stylus is included.

The Vivo S30 Pro Mini includes a video light for use during video recording, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
