Each earbud features stereo speakers, while wingtips, RGB lighting, a UV light, and a display are all absent from the design. The earbuds carry no water resistance rating, and no neckband configuration is used.
The Vivo TWS 3i uses a 10 mm driver unit and covers a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, with passive noise reduction helping to reduce ambient sound during use. Active noise cancellation is not supported, and the earbuds do not include spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, Dirac Virtuo, or a neodymium magnet driver.
The Vivo TWS 3i offers 11 hours of battery life per charge, with the charging case extending total playback to 25 hours. A full charge takes 2 hours, and the earbuds feature a rechargeable battery along with a battery level indicator to keep track of remaining power. Wireless charging and solar charging are not supported.
The Vivo TWS 3i connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with a maximum range of 10 m and supports the AAC codec, while USB Type-C is used for wired charging. Audio latency is rated at 55 ms, and the earbuds can be used fully wirelessly. Advanced audio codecs including LDAC, LDHC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice are not supported, nor are Bluetooth LE Audio, Auracast, fast pairing, or NFC pairing.
The Vivo TWS 3i supports fast charging and can be used as a headset for calls, with a mute function and voice prompts included for added convenience during use. Controls are handled through a panel placed on the device itself, and a travel bag is included in the box. In-line controls, in/on-ear detection, ambient sound mode, notification readout, a find-device feature, a body temperature sensor, and a camera remote shutter are not part of the feature set.
