Vivo V30 Lite 4G

The Vivo V30 Lite 4G has a non-folding, non-rugged design that measures 163.2mm tall, 75.8mm wide, and just 7.8mm thick, giving it a slim profile within a total volume of roughly 96.49 cm³. It weighs 186g, keeping it reasonably light for everyday handling. On the durability side, the device carries an IP54 rating, meaning it offers protection against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making it water resistant in typical day-to-day conditions.

The Vivo V30 Lite 4G features a 6.67-inch OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 px and a pixel density of 395 ppi, delivering a sharp and vibrant visual experience. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate for fluid scrolling and smooth on-screen motion, and includes an Always-On Display mode for at-a-glance information without fully waking the screen. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, has no secondary screen, and does not use branded damage-resistant glass.

The Vivo V30 Lite 4G is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 4G, a 6nm chipset with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 4 x 2.8 GHz and 4 x 1.9 GHz using big.LITTLE technology across 8 threads, paired with an Adreno 610 GPU clocked at 1260 MHz. The chip integrates LTE, supports 64-bit processing, and includes hardware security features such as NX bit and TrustZone. The device comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM running at 2133 MHz and a maximum memory bandwidth of 17 GB/s, with support for up to 16GB of memory and 256GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. On the graphics side, it supports DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0. In benchmark testing, the chipset achieves a Geekbench 6 multi-core score of 1510 and a single-core score of 473, while Geekbench 5 results come in at 1787 multi-core and 442 single-core.

The Vivo V30 Lite 4G features a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50MP sensor at f/1.8 and a 2MP sensor at f/2.4, using a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination or optical image stabilization. Autofocus options include phase-detection autofocus for stills and continuous autofocus during video recording, as well as touch autofocus, though laser autofocus is absent. The main camera supports a range of manual controls — including exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance — along with HDR mode, burst shooting, and in-camera panoramas, while manual shutter speed, RAW capture, 360-degree panorama, HDR10 recording, and Dolby Vision recording are not available. Video recording tops out at 1080p at 30fps with slow-motion support, and a single LED flash is present on the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash. On the front, an 8MP single-lens camera with an f/2.0 aperture handles selfies, without a front-facing flash, under-display placement, or a secondary lens.

The Vivo V30 Lite 4G runs on Android 14 and brings a solid set of privacy controls, including clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not included. On the customization front, the OS supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and app offloading are not available. Usability is further enhanced by split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, Live Text, and the ability to play games while they download. The device also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, phone tracking, multi-user mode, a child lock, battery health check, and an extra dim display mode. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not provided, and Quick Start and Wi-Fi password sharing are likewise absent.

The Vivo V30 Lite 4G is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that includes a battery level indicator for easy monitoring. It supports 80W wired fast charging, and a charger is included in the box, making it ready to use out of the package. Wireless charging is not supported.

The Vivo V30 Lite 4G includes stereo speakers for audio playback but omits a 3.5mm headphone jack, so wired headphones require an adapter. There is no built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, the device does not support aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC, meaning higher-quality Bluetooth audio codecs are absent.

The Vivo V30 Lite 4G supports 4G cellular connectivity only, with no 5G support, and accommodates two SIM cards alongside an external memory slot for expandable storage. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) as well as Bluetooth 5.0, though NFC is absent. The device connects via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0 and offers download speeds of up to 390 Mbit/s and upload speeds of up to 150 Mbit/s, while HDMI output is not available. For navigation and location, it includes GPS with Galileo support, a compass, a gyroscope, and an accelerometer, but lacks a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, and ANT+ support. Security is handled by a fingerprint scanner, with no 3D facial recognition or iris scanner present. Features such as crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, DLNA certification, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a built-in projector are also not included, and no stylus comes with the device.

The Vivo V30 Lite 4G includes a video light to assist with recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
