Vivo V30 Pro

The Vivo V30 Pro has a conventional, non-folding form factor with no rugged build certification, measuring 164.4 mm tall, 75.1 mm wide, and 7.5 mm thick, with a total volume of 92.60 cm³. It weighs 188 g, making it notably light for a device of its screen size. An IP54 rating provides protection against dust ingress and water splashing from any direction, though it is not rated for submersion.

The Vivo V30 Pro features a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 px and a pixel density of 453 ppi, delivering a sharp and vibrant image across its large curved panel. The display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate and supports both HDR10 and HDR10+ for enhanced dynamic range with compatible content. Dolby Vision and Always-On Display are not supported, there is no branded damage-resistant glass, and a secondary screen is absent.

The Vivo V30 Pro is driven by the Mediatek Dimensity 8200 chipset, built on a 4 nm process with a 6W TDP and an octa-core CPU spread across three clock tiers — one core at 3.1 GHz, three at 3.0 GHz, and four at 2.0 GHz — using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support across 8 threads. It is paired with 12GB of DDR5 RAM at 6400 MHz over four memory channels, delivering a maximum memory bandwidth of 51.2 GB/s, with 512GB of internal storage and a memory ceiling of 16GB. The integrated Mali G610 MP6 GPU runs at 950 MHz and supports DirectX 12 and OpenCL 2, while additional hardware security features include TrustZone and an NX bit, alongside integrated LTE and a 4 MB L3 cache. Benchmark scores include 980,000 on AnTuTu, 3,891 and 1,224 on Geekbench 6 multi- and single-core respectively, 3,889 and 998 on Geekbench 5, 11,284 on PCMark Work 3.0 performance, and a PCMark battery result of 915 minutes; the 3DMark Steel Nomad score stands at 676.

The Vivo V30 Pro has a triple rear camera system with each of the three lenses resolving at 50 MP, all using CMOS sensors without back-side illumination. Optical image stabilization is built in, and autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus for stills plus continuous autofocus during video; laser autofocus is not present. The main camera supports 2x optical zoom and records video at up to 4K (2160p) at 30 fps with slow-motion capability, though HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not available. A single LED flash is present on the rear without dual-tone or RGB configuration. Manual controls cover ISO, exposure, focus, and white balance, with shooting modes including HDR, burst, panorama, and timelapse; raw capture and manual shutter speed are not supported. The Vivo V30 Pro runs Android 14 and offers a solid set of privacy controls, including clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera/microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not available. Customization features cover dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and app offloading are absent. Productivity is supported through split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, and Live Text, and games can be played while downloading. The OS also includes on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, device tracking, a child lock, battery health check, extra dim mode, and multi-user support. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not provided, and Wi-Fi password sharing and Quick Start are also absent.

The Vivo V30 Pro is fitted with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery with a battery level indicator. It supports 80W fast charging, enabling rapid replenishment from a wired connection, though wireless charging is not available.

The Vivo V30 Pro lacks a 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, and FM radio. On the wireless audio side, it supports both aptX and aptX HD Bluetooth codecs, enabling higher-quality audio over compatible wireless headphones, though aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are not available.

The Vivo V30 Pro supports 5G connectivity alongside Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), paired with Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC in a dual-SIM configuration without an external memory slot. Location is handled through GPS with Galileo support, complemented by a compass, gyroscope, and accelerometer, while a barometer, heart rate monitor, and ANT+ are absent. Infrared sensor, HDMI output, DLNA certification, satellite SOS, crash detection, motion tracking, optical tracking, a stylus, and a built-in projector are all absent.

The Vivo V30 Pro features a curved display and includes a video light for use during recording. The screen does not use sapphire glass, and there is no e-paper panel present.
