The Vivo Watch GT covers a broad range of everyday activity tracking, recording steps, distance, pace, and elevation, while its automatic activity detection and exercise tagging features reduce the need for manual input during workouts. Sleep tracking comes with full sleep reports, and a built-in route tracker logs movement paths using the onboard GPS. Calorie intake tracking is also supported. The watch does not offer a multi-sport mode, swim stroke counting, or dedicated modes for diving or golf.
The Vivo Watch GT supports cellular connectivity via a single eSIM, allowing it to operate independently of a paired phone, and it is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. Bluetooth 5.3 handles wireless pairing, while NFC adds support for contactless functionality. For satellite navigation, the watch supports the Galileo system in addition to its onboard GPS. Wi-Fi and ANT+ are not supported.
The Vivo Watch GT is powered by a 505 mAh rechargeable battery with a rated life of 3 days under standard use, stretching to 216 hours in power-saving mode. The battery is neither removable nor solar-assisted, and the watch does not support wireless charging.
The Vivo Watch GT measures resting heart rate and delivers fast/slow heart rate notifications, though it does not include HRV tracking, irregular heart rate warnings, ECG technology, or a readiness/recovery indicator. On the communication side, the watch can answer calls, manage call control, and push wrist notifications, supported by a single built-in microphone and voice command functionality; there is no front camera. Utility features include a silent alarm, vibrating alerts, a stopwatch, a phone finder, and a camera remote shutter, while smart alarm and fall detection are absent. The watch carries a 1-year warranty.
The companion app for the Vivo Watch GT is available free of charge and covers activity reports, calorie burn tracking, water intake, weight tracking, an exercise diary, goal setting, inactivity alerts, and achievements, with support for widgets and personalisation. Reproductive health features are well represented, including period notifications, fertile window notifications, ovulation prediction, and start date prediction. The app does not include coaching, temperature tracking, music playback, calendar sync, email export, or a barcode scanner, and it is not ad-free.
The Vivo Watch GT includes a battery level indicator but lacks a passcode for device security and does not support auto-pause during activity tracking. It is not compatible with Windows or Mac OS X desktops, and it cannot connect to external heart rate monitors. There is no external memory slot and no 3.5 mm audio jack.
