Vivo X100 Ultra

The Vivo X100 Ultra has a non-folding, standard-form design measuring 164.1 x 75.6 x 9.2 mm with a volume of 114.13 cm³ and a weight of 229 g. It carries an IP68 ingress protection rating, classifying it as waterproof against dust and sustained water immersion. The device does not feature a rugged build, keeping its profile squarely in the mainstream smartphone category.

The Vivo X100 Ultra features a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a 1440 x 3200 px resolution at 517 ppi and a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering sharp and fluid visuals. The panel supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, and offers a contrast ratio of 8,000,000:1 for deep blacks and vivid tonal range. It does not include branded damage-resistant glass, an Always-On Display mode, or a secondary screen.

The Vivo X100 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a 4 nm SoC with an octa-core CPU configuration spanning clock speeds of 3.3, 3.15, 2.96, and 2.26 GHz across 8 threads, supported by big.LITTLE architecture and Heterogeneous Multi-Processing. The chip pairs with 16 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 4800 MHz across 2 memory channels, a maximum memory bandwidth of 76.6 GB/s, and 1024 GB of internal storage, with a maximum supported memory amount of 24 GB. Graphics are handled by the Adreno 750 GPU clocked at 900 MHz with 3 execution units, integrated graphics support, DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, driving a single display. The SoC includes integrated LTE, TrustZone security, multithreading, and a 12.5 W TDP, while cache is organized as 1 MB L2 and 12 MB L3. The Vivo X100 Ultra features a multi-lens rear camera system combining 200 MP, 50 MP, and 50 MP sensors with apertures of f/2.7, f/1.8, and f/2.2 respectively, each built on a CMOS sensor with a 1.6 µm pixel size and optical image stabilization. Focusing options include phase-detection autofocus, laser autofocus, and touch autofocus with continuous autofocus during video recording, while manual controls cover exposure, ISO, shutter speed, white balance, and focus. The system supports 3.7x optical zoom, burst mode, RAW shooting, panorama, timelapse, slow-motion video, HDR mode, and video capture up to 4320p at 30 fps with HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording; a single LED flash is present, though dual-tone and RGB flash options are absent. On the front, a single-lens 50 MP camera with an f/2.5 aperture handles selfies — it does not include a front-facing flash, a secondary lens, or an under-display placement — and 3D photo/video recording and 360° panorama are not supported on either camera.

The Vivo X100 Ultra runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera/microphone access management, along with the ability to block app tracking; cross-site tracking blocking, Mail Privacy Protection, and Wi-Fi password sharing are not available. The interface supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, a media picker, full-page scrolling screenshots, customizable notifications with notification permission controls, widgets, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they download. On-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, phone tracking, multi-user support, app offloading, a child lock, battery health check, and Live Text for selecting text in images round out the software feature set. Focus modes, Quick Start, direct OS vendor updates, and the ability to function as a PC are not supported.

The Vivo X100 Ultra houses a non-removable rechargeable 5500 mAh battery with a built-in level indicator. It supports fast wired charging at 80W as well as wireless charging at 30W, though reverse wireless charging is not available.

The Vivo X100 Ultra includes stereo speakers and supports aptX and aptX HD for higher-quality Bluetooth audio transmission, though aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are not available. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack and no built-in radio.

The Vivo X100 Ultra supports 5G connectivity with download speeds up to 10,000 Mbits/s and upload speeds up to 3,500 Mbits/s, accommodates two SIM cards, and connects wirelessly via Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Wi-Fi 7 as well as Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC. Wired connectivity is handled through a USB Type-C port running USB 3.2, though HDMI output is absent and there is no external memory slot. Security and biometrics include a fingerprint scanner, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present. Sensors on board cover GPS, Galileo, a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, and an infrared sensor; a barometer, heart rate monitor, motion tracking, and optical tracking are not included. The device also features emergency SOS via satellite, but does not support crash detection, ANT+, DLNA certification, or a built-in projector, and no stylus is included.

The Vivo X100 Ultra features a curved display and includes a video light, while it does not have a sapphire glass display or an e-paper display.
