On the durability side, the phone carries an IP64 rating, meaning it offers protection against dust ingress and water splashing from any direction, though it does not feature a rugged build designed for more demanding environments.

The Vivo Y200 GT features a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels and a pixel density of 453 ppi, producing a detailed and sharp image across the panel. The display runs at a 144Hz refresh rate paired with a 300Hz touch sampling rate, allowing for smooth on-screen motion and responsive input. A contrast ratio of 8,000,000:1 contributes to deep blacks and well-defined highlights, and the screen supports HDR10 for compatible content. However, it does not support HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or an Always-On Display mode, and there is no branded damage-resistant glass or secondary screen present.

The Vivo Y200 GT is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, a 4 nm chipset with an octa-core CPU configuration running at up to 2.63 GHz on the prime core, 2.4 GHz on three mid cores, and 1.8 GHz on four efficiency cores, utilizing big.LITTLE technology for workload distribution across threads. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 720 GPU clocked at 950 MHz, which supports DirectX 12 and OpenGL ES 3.2, and the chipset also includes integrated LTE and ARM TrustZone for hardware-level security. The phone comes with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 3200 MHz — with the platform supporting up to 16 GB — and a maximum memory bandwidth of 25.6 GB/s, alongside 512 GB of internal storage. The CPU has a TDP of 6W, supports 64-bit processing and multithreading, and the setup achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score of 865,000.

The Vivo Y200 GT uses a dual-lens rear camera setup combining a 50 MP primary sensor at f/1.8 and a 2 MP secondary lens at f/2.4, both using CMOS technology without a back-illuminated sensor. The main camera supports 4K video recording at 30 fps with continuous autofocus during capture, phase-detection autofocus for stills, touch autofocus, slow-motion video, timelapse, burst mode, HDR, and in-camera panoramas, while manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance — though manual shutter speed, optical zoom, RAW capture, laser autofocus, and HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording are not available. Features not included are focus modes, app offloading, Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, and the ability to use the phone as a PC, and OS updates are not delivered directly from the platform vendor.
