Vivo Y300i

The Vivo Y300i has a conventional, non-folding design measuring 165.7 mm in height, 75.3 mm in width, and 8.1 mm in thickness, with a total volume of approximately 101.07 cm³ and a weight of 205 g. It carries an IP64 rating, meaning it offers solid protection against dust and water splashing from any direction, though it is not built to a rugged standard. The device does not feature a reinforced or ruggedized construction beyond that ingress protection level.

The Vivo Y300i features a 6.68″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1608 px and a pixel density of 264 ppi, delivering standard HD-level clarity across its large panel. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which contributes to smoother scrolling and more fluid on-screen motion. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Always-On Display functionality. There is no secondary screen present on the device.

The Vivo Y300i is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, a 4 nm octa-core chipset configured with 2 cores at 2.3 GHz and 6 cores at 2 GHz using big.LITTLE technology, supported by 12GB of DDR5 RAM running at 3200 MHz and a maximum memory ceiling of 16GB. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 613 GPU clocked at 955 MHz, with support for up to 2 displays, DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The chipset includes integrated LTE, ARM TrustZone for hardware-level security, and operates with a thermal design power of 4W. Storage stands at 512GB via eMMC 5.1, and the platform fully supports 64-bit processing across its 8 CPU threads.

The Vivo Y300i features a single-lens 50 MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a CMOS sensor, capable of recording video at 1080p and 30 fps with continuous autofocus during recording and slow-motion support. It offers phase-detection autofocus for stills along with touch autofocus, HDR mode, burst mode, timelapse, and in-camera panorama, while manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance — though manual shutter speed and RAW shooting are not available. The rear setup does not include optical image stabilization, a back-illuminated sensor, laser autofocus, dual-tone or RGB flash, or 360° panorama, and it records without HDR10 or Dolby Vision support. The Vivo Y300i runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera and microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are absent. Customization options include theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, extra dim mode, and home screen widgets, while productivity is supported through split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, a media picker, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they download. The OS also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, customizable notifications, notification permission controls, app offloading, a child lock, multi-user support, and phone tracking. OS updates are not delivered directly by the vendor, and the device does not include focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, or Quick Start functionality, nor can it be used as a PC replacement.

The Vivo Y300i is equipped with a 6500 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 44W fast charging, allowing for quicker top-ups over a wired connection. The battery is non-removable and does not support wireless charging. A battery level indicator is present, giving users a clear read of remaining charge at a glance.

The Vivo Y300i includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and stereo speakers, along with a built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, the device does not support aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC, so high-resolution Bluetooth audio codecs are not available.

The device does not include crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, ANT+ support, DLNA certification, a stylus, or a built-in projector.

The Vivo Y300i includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, and the device uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
