The Vivo Y300t has a standard candy-bar form factor — it does not fold and lacks a rugged build. It measures 165.7 mm tall, 76.3 mm wide, and 8.1 mm thick, with a total volume of roughly 102.41 cm³ and a weight of 204 g. On the durability front, the device carries an IP64 rating, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and resistant to water splashes from any direction, though it is not designed for submersion.

The Vivo Y300t features a 6.72″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a 1080 x 2408 px resolution and a pixel density of 393 ppi, producing a sharp and detailed image across its large panel. The display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate, contributing to smoother on-screen motion during everyday use. It does not include branded damage-resistant glass, an Always-On Display mode, a secondary screen, or support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision.

The Vivo Y300t is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300, a 4nm chipset built on an octa-core big.LITTLE architecture with four cores clocked at 2.5 GHz and four at 2 GHz, running across 8 threads with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing support and integrated LTE. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 6400 MHz and 256GB of internal storage, with the chipset supporting a maximum memory configuration of 16GB. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G615 MC2 GPU, clocked at 1047 MHz and capable of driving a single display, with DirectX 12 support. The chip is fabricated with approximately 6,200 million transistors and supports 64-bit processing. In terms of measured performance, the device scores 456,552 on AnTuTu, with Geekbench 6 results of 1,026 in single-core and 2,932 in multi-core tests.

The Vivo Y300t uses a dual-lens rear camera setup combining a 50MP primary sensor at f/1.8 and a 2MP secondary lens at f/2.4, both using CMOS technology without a back-illuminated sensor. Video recording reaches up to 2160p at 30fps, with continuous autofocus active during recording, though optical image stabilization is not available. The rear system supports phase-detection autofocus for stills, touch autofocus, HDR mode, burst shooting, slow-motion video, timelapse, and in-camera panoramas, along with a range of manual controls covering exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance — manual shutter speed, however, is not included. There is no optical zoom, no laser autofocus, no dual-tone or RGB flash, and the device does not shoot in RAW format or support HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording. On the front, an 8MP single-lens camera sits at f/2.1 — it is not embedded under the display and has no dedicated LED flash.

The Vivo Y300t ships with Android 15 and brings a broad set of software capabilities covering both usability and privacy. On the privacy side, it includes clipboard warnings, location privacy controls, and camera and microphone access management, along with the ability to block app tracking — though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not available. The interface supports dynamic and manual theme customization, dark mode, an extra dim mode, home screen widgets, and sharing intents, while focus modes and Quick Start are absent. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, picture-in-picture, full-page scrolling screenshots, a media picker, app offloading, and the ability to play games while they download. The OS also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text selection, customizable notifications, a child lock, multi-user accounts, phone tracking, and a battery health check tool. OS updates are not delivered directly by the vendor, and the device cannot function as a PC replacement.

The Vivo Y300t is equipped with a 6500 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 44W wired fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present for monitoring charge status. The battery is not removable, and wireless charging is not supported.

The Vivo Y300t omits a 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, and a built-in radio. For wireless audio, it supports aptX and aptX HD, enabling higher-quality Bluetooth audio transmission, though aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are not available.

The Vivo Y300t covers the core bases of modern connectivity with 5G cellular support, Wi-Fi 4 and Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.4, alongside NFC for short-range communication. It accepts two SIM cards and includes an external memory slot for storage expansion. Wired connectivity is handled via a USB Type-C port running on USB 2.0, while theoretical download and upload speeds reach 3270 Mbit/s. The sensor suite includes a fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, GPS, and Galileo satellite navigation. Features not present include HDMI output, an infrared sensor, a barometer, ANT+ support, a heart rate monitor, 3D facial recognition, an iris scanner, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, DLNA certification, motion or optical tracking, and a built-in projector. A stylus is also not included.

The Vivo Y300t includes a video light, which can be used to illuminate scenes during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
