The Wavell 4 Signature uses an over-ear fit and weighs 233 g, giving it a solid physical presence without being excessively heavy. It features a closed-back design with stereo speakers, and its cable is both detachable and tangle-free, offering flexibility for wired use. The headphone is not intended for children and does not carry a kids-oriented design.
The Wavell 4 Signature handles noise management through a combination of active noise cancellation and passive noise reduction, addressing both electronic and physical sound isolation. Audio is driven by a 40 mm driver unit, and the headphone does not incorporate a neodymium magnet or support spatial audio.
The Wavell 4 Signature carries a built-in rechargeable battery rated at 55 hours of playback, which reduces to 40 hours when active noise cancellation is enabled. Charging is done via USB Type-C, and a battery level indicator lets users keep track of remaining charge. The battery is not removable, and the headphone supports neither wireless charging nor solar power.
The Wavell 4 Signature connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 with a maximum range of 10 m, and supports the AAC codec for audio transmission. It does not include aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, LDAC, LDHC, or Bluetooth LE Audio, and Auracast is not supported. Pairing conveniences such as fast pair and NFC pairing are also absent.
The Wavell 4 Signature can function as a headset and is fitted with six microphones, including a noise-canceling microphone for cleaner call audio. It supports ambient sound mode, allowing users to let in environmental sound when needed, and connects to two devices simultaneously via its multipoint pairing. Controls are handled through an on-device panel rather than an inline remote, and there is no mute function or in/on-ear detection included.
