The Xiaomi 14 Civi has a non-folding, standard-form body measuring 157.2 mm tall, 72.8 mm wide, and 7.5 mm thick, with a volume of approximately 85.8 cm³ and a weight of 179.3 g. It does not feature a rugged build and carries no water resistance rating, leaving it without any certified protection against moisture or dust ingress.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi uses a 6.55″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1236 x 2750 px and a pixel density of 460 ppi, placing it among the sharper displays in its form factor. It runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and the panel is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision are all supported, covering a wide range of high dynamic range formats, though Always-On Display is not available and there is no secondary screen.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a 4 nm octa-core chipset configured in a tri-cluster layout running at 1 x 3 GHz, 4 x 2.8 GHz, and 3 x 2 GHz with big.LITTLE architecture, multithreading, and a TDP of 12.5W. It is paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM at 4800 MHz, a maximum memory bandwidth of 64 GB/s, and 512 GB of internal storage via eMMC 5.1, with a maximum supported memory capacity of 24 GB. The integrated Adreno 735 GPU runs at 1100 MHz with 3 execution units, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.3, OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenVG 1.2, and OpenCL 2 across a single display output. Cache configuration includes 1 MB of L2 and 8 MB of L3, and the chipset also integrates LTE and TrustZone security. Geekbench 6 scores come in at 2019 (single-core) and 5570 (multi-core), reflecting the chip's processing throughput across both focused and parallel workloads.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi features a triple rear camera system with a 50 MP primary sensor at f/1.6, a 50 MP second lens at f/2.0, and a 12 MP third lens at f/2.2, all using CMOS sensors without back-side illumination. Optical image stabilization and 2x optical zoom are present, and the system supports 4K video recording at 30 fps, continuous autofocus during video, phase-detection autofocus for stills, slow-motion recording, HDR, timelapse, panorama, burst mode, and touch autofocus. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, and RAW capture is also supported — though laser autofocus, 360° panorama, manual shutter speed, HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording, and 3D capture are not available. Two flash LEDs are fitted on the rear without dual-tone or RGB operation, and there is no front-facing flash. The front camera is a dual-lens setup pairing two 32 MP sensors at f/2.4 and f/2.0 respectively, positioned conventionally above the display rather than under it.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi runs Android 14 and comes with a well-rounded set of privacy controls, including clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and app tracking blocking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not present. Customization options include theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, extra dim mode, and widget support, while focus modes and app offloading are unavailable. Day-to-day usability is supported through split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they download. The system also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text, multi-user accounts, child lock, battery health checks, and device tracking, though Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, and direct OS vendor updates are not available.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi is fitted with a 4700 mAh non-removable rechargeable battery that supports 67W fast charging, with a charger included in the box. A battery level indicator is available for monitoring charge status. Wireless charging is not supported.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi features stereo speakers and supports both aptX and LDAC Bluetooth audio codecs, the latter enabling higher-resolution wireless audio transmission. aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless are not supported. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack and no built-in radio.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi supports 5G connectivity alongside Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Wi-Fi 6, and accommodates two SIM cards. Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC are both present, and the device connects via USB Type-C, though the USB version is 2.0 and there is no HDMI output or external memory slot. Download speeds reach up to 10,000 Mbit/s with upload speeds of up to 3,500 Mbit/s. The sensor suite includes a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, GPS with Galileo support, and an infrared sensor, while a barometer, heart rate monitor, and motion or optical tracking are absent. Security relies on a fingerprint scanner, with no 3D facial recognition or iris scanner available. ANT+, DLNA, satellite SOS, crash detection, a built-in projector, and a stylus are all absent from the feature set.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi includes a video light to aid recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, and neither sapphire glass nor e-paper technology is used in the screen.
