Its resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels translates to a pixel density of 254 ppi. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, an Always-On mode, or support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no secondary screen.

The Poco C85 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, fabricated on a 6 nm process, with an octa-core CPU running at 2 x 2.4 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support across 8 threads. It is paired with 8GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 2133 MHz, a maximum supported memory ceiling of 12GB, and 256GB of internal storage. Graphics are handled by an integrated Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU running at 950 MHz with DirectX 12 support, while memory bandwidth reaches up to 17.07 GB/s. The SoC also features integrated LTE, supports 64-bit processing and multithreading, and includes an L1 cache of 512 KB, an L2 cache of 1 MB, and an L3 cache of 2 MB. In Geekbench 6, the device scores 782 in the single-core test and 2012 in the multi-core test.
