It runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 480Hz touch sampling rate, and the panel supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision for wide content compatibility. Gorilla Glass 5 provides surface protection, while Always-On Display functionality is also available. The device has no secondary screen.

The Poco F6 Pro is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a 4 nm SoC with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at up to 3.36 GHz turbo across a big.LITTLE arrangement of 1 × 3.2 GHz, 4 × 2.8 GHz, and 3 × 2 GHz cores, and a TDP of 6.3W. The chip includes integrated LTE, integrated graphics, ARM TrustZone security, and multithreading support, while cache is split across 1 MB of L2 and 8 MB of L3. Benchmark results stand at 1,642,770 on AnTuTu, 5,310 multi-core and 1,922 single-core on Geekbench 6, and 996 on 3DMark Steel Nomad.

Privacy controls include clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are absent. Productivity features cover customizable notifications, a media picker, full-page scrolling screenshots, sharing intents, live text selection from images, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and on-device machine learning. The device also supports a child lock, battery health checks, phone tracking, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, app offloading, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not available, and OS updates are not delivered directly from the platform vendor.

The Poco F6 Pro houses a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery with a built-in level indicator, and the device ships with a charger included in the box. It supports 120W wired fast charging, allowing for rapid top-ups, though wireless charging is not available. The battery is non-removable.

The Poco F6 Pro includes stereo speakers and a quad-microphone setup, but does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack or a built-in radio. Bluetooth audio codec support is broad, covering aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and LDAC, enabling high-quality wireless audio across a range of compatible devices, though aptX Lossless is not supported.
