The Xiaomi Poco M7 Plus features a 6.9″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 px and a pixel density of 374 ppi, delivering a reasonably sharp image across its large panel. One of its more notable display attributes is the 144Hz refresh rate, which enables smoother scrolling and on-screen motion. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, adding a layer of resistance against scratches and minor impacts. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no Always-On Display mode or secondary screen.

Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 619 GPU clocked at 950 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenCL 2, and OpenGL ES 3.2. The SoC employs big.LITTLE technology with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing, NX bit, and ARM TrustZone for security, and operates with a TDP of 4W. Integrated LTE is present on the chip, and the platform supports 64-bit processing with 128-bit NEON execution, though simultaneous multithreading is not used.

Privacy tooling includes clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are absent. Customization options span dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, and customizable notifications with granular notification permissions. The OS also features on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text, full-page scrolling screenshots, a media picker, a child lock, sharing intents, phone tracking, battery health check, and an extra dim mode. Games can be played while still downloading, and the device supports device tracking. OS updates do not come directly from the platform vendor, and Quick Start and desktop PC mode are not available.

The Xiaomi Poco M7 Plus houses a 7000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery with a visible battery level indicator. It supports 33W fast charging, allowing for quicker top-ups over a wired connection. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not available on this device.

The Xiaomi Poco M7 Plus includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack, allowing the use of wired audio accessories without an adapter. However, the device lacks stereo speakers, outputting audio through a single speaker instead.
