The Poco M7 Pro 5G features a 6.67″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a 1080 x 2400 px resolution and a pixel density of 395 ppi, delivering a sharp and vibrant visual experience. The display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and it supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision for broad high dynamic range compatibility. An Always-On Display mode is also available, and the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The Poco M7 Pro 5G is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025, a 6nm chipset with an octa-core CPU running at 2 x 2.5 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support, paired with an IMG BXM-8-256 GPU clocked at 900 MHz. The device comes with 8GB of DDR5 RAM running at 2750 MHz across 4 memory channels, offering a maximum memory bandwidth of 51.2 GB/s and support for up to 16GB, alongside 256GB of internal storage. It scores 470,822 on AnTuTu, 884 single-core and 2,291 multi-core on Geekbench 6, and 690 single-core and 1,890 multi-core on Geekbench 5. The SoC supports 64-bit processing, multithreading, integrated LTE, integrated graphics with 18 shading units, DirectX 12, OpenCL 2, and includes an NX bit for hardware-level security.

The Poco M7 Pro 5G sports a dual-lens rear camera system led by a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.5 aperture and a 2MP secondary lens at f/2.4, both using a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination. The main camera includes optical image stabilization, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, continuous autofocus during video, and records footage at up to 1080p at 30fps, though it does not support HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording, optical zoom, or 3D capture. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while additional shooting modes include HDR, burst, panorama, slow-motion, and timelapse. A single LED flash is present on the rear, but there is no dual-tone or RGB flash. Neither RAW capture nor manual shutter speed control is available on this device.

The Poco M7 Pro 5G runs Android 14, an open-source platform that supports multi-user operation, widgets, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. Privacy features include clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not available. The OS offers broad customization through theme and dynamic theming options, dark mode, extra dim mode, and customizable notifications, while practical tools such as full-page screenshots, a media picker, text selection from images, sharing intents, a child lock, battery health check, and device position tracking are all on board. Voice commands and offline voice recognition are supported, and on-device machine learning is present. OS updates do not come directly from the platform vendor, and features like focus modes, app offloading, Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, and PC mode are not included.

The Poco M7 Pro 5G houses a 5110 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 45W wired fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present for at-a-glance monitoring. The battery is not removable, and wireless charging is not supported.

The Poco M7 Pro 5G includes stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack, along with a built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codec options — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported.

The Poco M7 Pro 5G offers a well-rounded connectivity package, including 5G cellular support, Wi-Fi 4 and Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port, with download speeds reaching up to 2770 MBits/s. It accommodates two SIM cards and also features an external memory slot for additional storage. Navigation is covered by GPS with Galileo support, and onboard sensors include a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, and infrared sensor. A fingerprint scanner handles biometric authentication, though 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not available. Features such as a barometer, heart rate monitor, ANT+, HDMI output, DLNA certification, satellite SOS, crash detection, motion and optical tracking, a built-in projector, and a stylus are all absent from this device.

The Poco M7 Pro 5G includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, and the device uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
