The Poco X7 Pro features a 6.67″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1220 x 2712 px and a pixel density of 446 ppi, delivering a sharp and detailed image across the panel. It runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 480Hz touch sampling rate, and typical brightness is rated at 1400 nits alongside a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1. The display supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, and includes an Always-On Display mode. For protection, it uses Gorilla Glass 7i, and there is no secondary screen. The panel does not have a secondary screen but does fully support standard touch input.

The Poco X7 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 system-on-chip, built on a 4 nm process with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at speeds of 1 x 3.25 GHz, 3 x 3 GHz, and 4 x 2.15 GHz using big.LITTLE and HMP technology. It is paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 4267 MHz across 4 memory channels, with a maximum supported memory amount of 24 GB and a peak bandwidth of 68.2 GB/s. Internal storage stands at 256 GB, and the chip includes an integrated Mali G720 MC7 GPU clocked at 1300 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The Poco X7 Pro runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera and microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not present. Theming is flexible with support for both theme customization and dynamic theming, alongside dark mode and an extra dim mode, while focus modes and Quick Start are not available. The OS supports split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, sharing intents, widgets, and the ability to play games while they download. It is a multi-user system with child lock support, app offloading, phone tracking, offline voice recognition, voice commands, on-device machine learning, battery health check, and Live Text functionality. Wi-Fi password sharing and the ability to function as a PC are not supported, and OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor. The platform is classified as free and open source.

The Poco X7 Pro is equipped with a 6000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 90W wired fast charging, with a charger included in the box. Wireless charging is not available. The device features a battery level indicator and an ultra power-saving mode for extending usage when charge is critically low.

The Poco X7 Pro has stereo speakers and two microphones, but does not include a 3.5 mm headphone jack or a built-in radio. For wireless audio, it supports aptX, aptX HD, and LDAC codecs, though aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless are not available.

The Poco X7 Pro supports 5G connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, with a maximum download speed of 5700 Mbit/s. Wi-Fi covers versions 4, 5, and 6 (802.11n/ac/ax), and Bluetooth 6 is on board alongside NFC. The USB Type-C port operates at USB 2.0 speeds, and there is no external memory slot, HDMI output, or DLNA certification. Sensors include a fingerprint scanner, GPS with Galileo support, gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, and an infrared sensor, while a barometer, heart rate monitor, and ANT+ support are absent. The device does not offer 3D facial recognition, an iris scanner, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, motion or optical tracking, or a built-in projector, and no stylus is included.

The Poco X7 Pro includes a video light for use during video recording, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
