The Poco X7 Pro uses an OLED/AMOLED touchscreen measuring 6.67″ with a resolution of 1220 x 2712 px and a pixel density of 446 ppi. The panel runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 480Hz touch sampling rate, and reaches a typical brightness of 1400 nits alongside a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1. It supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, and features an Always-On Display mode. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and does not include a secondary display.

The Poco X7 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 system-on-chip, built on a 4 nm process with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at speeds of 1 x 3.25 GHz, 3 x 3 GHz, and 4 x 2.15 GHz using big.LITTLE and HMP technology. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 4267 MHz and 256GB of internal storage, with a maximum supported memory amount of 24GB across 4 memory channels delivering up to 68.2 GB/s of bandwidth. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G720 MC7 GPU clocked at 1300 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, with a 3DMark Wild Life Unlimited score of 12,072. The chipset scores 1,583 in Geekbench 6 single-core and 6,137 in multi-core, alongside an AnTuTu score of 1,663,422. Additional hardware-level features include NX bit, TrustZone security, 64-bit support, 1 MB of L2 cache, and 6 MB of L3 cache at 6 MB per core.

The Poco X7 Pro features a dual-lens rear camera system with a 50 MP main sensor at f/1.5 and an 8 MP secondary lens at f/2.2, using CMOS sensors with pixel sizes of 1.12 µm and 0.8 µm respectively, though neither uses a back-illuminated sensor design. The rear camera supports optical image stabilization and offers phase-detection, laser, touch, and continuous autofocus, along with a manual control suite covering exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, plus RAW shooting; manual shutter speed is not available. Video recording reaches up to 2160p at 60 fps with HDR10 support, slow-motion capture, and timelapse, while Dolby Vision recording and 3D video are not supported. The rear flash uses two LEDs but is neither dual-tone nor RGB, and there is no optical zoom. The 20 MP front camera sits at f/2.5 in a standard single-lens configuration — it is not under-display and does not have a dedicated flash — and panorama shooting is available in-camera, though 360° panorama is not.

The Poco X7 Pro ships with Android 15, a free and open-source platform that supports multi-user operation, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. Privacy controls are broad, covering clipboard warnings, location access management, and camera/microphone permissions, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are absent. The interface supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while utility features include full-page screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, app offloading, a child lock, battery health monitoring, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, and voice commands. OS updates do not come directly from the vendor, Wi-Fi password sharing and focus modes are not available, and the device cannot function as a PC; Quick Start is also not supported.

The Poco X7 Pro houses a 6000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 90W wired fast charging, with a charger included in the box. Wireless charging is not available. The device features a battery level indicator and an ultra power-saving mode for extending usage when charge is critically low.

The Poco X7 Pro includes stereo speakers and a dual-microphone setup, but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack and has no built-in radio. For wireless audio, it supports aptX, aptX HD, and LDAC codecs, though aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless are not available.

The Poco X7 Pro supports 5G cellular connectivity with a dual-SIM configuration and a maximum download speed of 5700 Mbit/s, alongside Wi-Fi 4, 5, and 6 and Bluetooth 6. It includes NFC, a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, and a fingerprint scanner, while HDMI output, an external memory slot, and DLNA certification are absent. On-board sensors cover GPS with Galileo support, a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, and an infrared sensor, but there is no barometer, heart rate monitor, or motion/optical tracking. Biometric options are limited to the fingerprint scanner — 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present — and the device does not include a stylus, ANT+ support, crash detection, or emergency satellite SOS.

The Poco X7 Pro includes a video light for use during video recording, while the display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
