The Xiaomi Redmi K80 Pro features a 6.67″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a 1440 x 3200 px resolution and a pixel density of 526 ppi, producing a sharp and detailed image. Brightness reaches 1800 nits under typical conditions, and the contrast ratio stands at 5,000,000:1, both figures characteristic of the panel type. The display supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision for wide dynamic range content, and includes an Always-On Display mode. Motion responsiveness is handled by a 120 Hz refresh rate paired with a 480 Hz touch sampling rate. The screen does not use branded damage-resistant glass and there is no secondary screen present.

Customization options cover theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while productivity is supported through split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, app offloading, full-page screenshots, sharing intents, and the ability to play games during downloads. The system also features on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, customizable notifications with notification permission controls, a media picker, a child lock, multi-user support, phone tracking, battery health check, and Live Text for selecting text from images. OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor, Wi-Fi password sharing and focus modes are not available, and the device cannot be used as a PC nor does it include Quick Start functionality.

The Xiaomi Redmi K80 Pro houses a rechargeable 6000 mAh battery that is non-removable. Wired fast charging is supported at 120W, while wireless charging runs at 50W, and reverse wireless charging is also available for powering other devices. The battery includes a level indicator and an ultra power-saving mode for extending usage when charge is critically low.

The Xiaomi Redmi K80 Pro features stereo speakers and supports several Bluetooth audio codecs, including aptX, aptX HD, and aptX Adaptive, though LDAC and aptX Lossless are not available. The device does not include a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and there is no built-in radio.

The Xiaomi Redmi K80 Pro includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
