Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G (Global)

Despite the water resistance label reading none, the device carries an IP68 rating with a waterproof depth of 1.5 m, indicating a meaningful level of protection against water ingress under standard testing conditions.

The display is a 6.83″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 2772 px and a pixel density of 447 ppi, backed by branded damage-resistant glass and a contrast ratio of 8,000,000:1. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and is compatible with HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision for broad content format coverage. The always-on display feature is available, and there is no secondary screen.

The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, built on a 4 nm process with 6,200 million transistors, an 8-thread CPU running at 4 x 2.6 GHz and 4 x 2 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support, and integrated LTE. Graphics are handled by the Mali G615 MC2 GPU clocked at 1047 MHz with integrated graphics, DirectX 12 support, and a single supported display. The 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM operates at 6400 MHz with a maximum memory bandwidth of 25.6 GB/s and a supported ceiling of 16 GB, while 512 GB of internal storage is included alongside full 64-bit support.

The rear camera system is a dual-lens setup led by a 200 MP primary sensor paired with an 8 MP secondary lens, both using a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination, and supported by optical image stabilization, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while burst mode, HDR, panorama, timelapse, and slow-motion video recording are all available; however, laser autofocus, manual shutter speed, RAW capture, 360° panorama, and HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording are not supported. Video can be recorded at up to 2160p at 30 fps, and a single LED flash is present without dual-tone or RGB configuration. The 20 MP front camera is a single-lens unit without an under-display placement or a front-facing flash, and it does not support 3D photo or video capture.

The device runs Android 15 as a free and open-source, multi-user operating system with on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and phone tracking built in. Privacy features include clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking blocking, Mail Privacy Protection, and Wi-Fi password sharing are absent. Customization options span theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, extra dim mode, customizable notifications, widgets, and a media picker, while productivity is supported through split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, sharing intents, full-page screenshots, Live Text, app offloading, and the ability to play games during download. A battery health check and child lock are also present, whereas focus modes, direct OS vendor updates, and Quick Start are not available.

The device is equipped with a 6580 mAh non-removable rechargeable battery that supports 45W fast charging, with a battery level indicator included. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not supported.

The device features stereo speakers and supports LDAC for high-quality Bluetooth audio transmission, but does not include a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless codecs are all absent.

The device supports 5G connectivity with a dual SIM configuration, Wi-Fi 4, 5, and 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and GPS with Galileo satellite navigation. Wired connectivity is handled via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, while an external memory slot and HDMI output are not available. Onboard sensors include a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, and infrared sensor, though a barometer, heart rate monitor, and motion or optical tracking are absent. Security is covered by a fingerprint scanner, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present; a stylus is also not included, nor are ANT+, DLNA certification, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, or a built-in projector.

The device includes a video light for recording, while the display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
