It supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision for wide-format content compatibility, though it lacks an Always-On Display mode and does not include branded damage-resistant glass. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The chipset also supports 64-bit processing, NX bit, and TrustZone security.

The Redmi Turbo 4 features a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP lens at f/1.5 and an 8 MP lens at f/2.2, both using a CMOS sensor, with optical image stabilization, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is not available. Users can also offload apps, check battery health, play games while they download, and use Live Text for selecting text from images. Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, Quick Start, and the ability to use the device as a PC are not available, and OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor.

The Redmi Turbo 4 houses a 6550 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery with a built-in level indicator. It supports 90W wired fast charging, though wireless charging is not available.

The Redmi Turbo 4 includes stereo speakers and supports aptX for Bluetooth audio, but does not offer LDAC, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, or aptX Lossless. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack and no built-in radio.

The Redmi Turbo 4 supports 5G connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, with wireless coverage spanning Wi-Fi 4, 5, and 6 and a maximum download speed of 5,170 Mbit/s. The Redmi Turbo 4 includes a video light, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
