The XP-Pen Artist 15.6 Pro V2 is a pen display drawing tablet compatible with Chromebook, Windows, and Mac systems, featuring a built-in screen and an active drawing area of 340 x 191 mm². The unit measures 442 x 279 mm with a slim 12 mm thickness, weighs 1447 g, and has a volume of 1479.816 cm³. It ships with a stylus and pen stand included, and practical touches like fold-out legs and a detachable cable add to its usability. Wireless operation is not supported, and the tablet lacks both a 3.5 mm audio jack and a travel bag; it also has no built-in microphones.
The display measures 15.6″ with a 1920 x 1080 px resolution and offers wide viewing angles of 178° both horizontally and vertically, making the image consistent across a broad range of positions. Typical brightness sits at 250 nits, and the screen covers 96% of the Adobe RGB color space, which is notable for color-intensive work. The panel does not feature an anti-reflection coating.
The included stylus delivers 16384 pressure levels alongside a pen resolution of 5080 LPI and a report rate of 200 RPS, allowing for fairly detailed and responsive input. Tilt sensitivity is supported with a capacity of up to 60°, which gives artists control over stroke shading and brush angle. The pen also features two side buttons.
Connectivity on this tablet is minimal, with a single USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port serving as the sole connection option. There are no HDMI ports, no DisplayPort or mini DisplayPort outputs, and Bluetooth is not built in.
