The XP-Pen Artist Pro 19 (Gen 2) is a pen display compatible with Chromebook, Windows, and Mac systems, featuring an active drawing area of 409 x 230 mm² and three hardware buttons for workflow shortcuts. It ships with a stylus and a pen stand, and its detachable cable makes cable management more flexible. The unit includes fold-out legs for angled use, though it does not support wireless operation and lacks both a 3.5 mm headset jack and a travel bag. Physically, it measures 460 x 306 x 21 mm, has a volume of 2955.96 cm³, and weighs 2230 g.
The display measures 19″ and renders at a 3840 x 2160 px resolution, delivering a sharp 4K image across the panel. Viewing angles reach 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically, making the image remain consistent when viewed from wide positions. Typical brightness is rated at 250 nits, and the screen covers 96% of the Adobe RGB color space, which is relevant for color-sensitive work. The panel does not include an anti-reflection coating.
The included stylus supports 16384 levels of pressure sensitivity and operates at a resolution of 5080 LPI, allowing for fine gradations in stroke weight. It reports input at 220 RPS and recognizes tilt at up to 60 degrees, giving artists control over brush angle and direction. Two buttons are built into the pen body for quick access to assigned functions.
Connectivity is handled through two USB 3.2 Gen 1 USB-C ports, which serve as the sole interface for data and display output. The tablet does not include any HDMI, DisplayPort, or mini DisplayPort outputs, and Bluetooth is not built in.
