The YUNZII Al68 is a mechanical gaming keyboard with a compact 65% layout and a standard profile, built around a gasket mount for a more cushioned typing feel. It supports wireless and wired connectivity, connecting via Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, or USB, and polls at 1000 Hz. The keyboard is designed with Mac compatibility in mind and includes a detachable cable. It measures 319 mm wide, 114 mm deep, and 40.25 mm thick, weighing 1205 g, and comes with a one-year warranty.
The YUNZII Al68 features an aluminum case available in black or white, giving it a solid, uniform build. It includes RGB backlighting with a south-facing LED direction, and adjustable feet allow the typing angle to be modified. No wrist rest is included in the box.
The YUNZII Al68 comes equipped with YUNZII Milk V2 Linear switches, which are mechanical in type and deliver a smooth, linear feel with no tactile bump. They actuate at 2 mm, require 40 g of force to register a keypress, and have a total travel distance of 3.6 mm. The switches are hot-swappable, meaning they can be replaced without soldering directly on the board.
The YUNZII Al68 supports QMK and VIA, giving users access to deep key remapping, layer configuration, and macro programming through widely used open-source tools. It includes adjustable actuation and full N-key rollover, ensuring every keypress is registered independently regardless of how many keys are held simultaneously. The board does not offer rapid trigger, dual actuation, USB passthrough, or a built-in display.
The YUNZII Al68 uses an ANSI (United States) layout with a standard key arrangement, making it compatible with widely available replacement keycap sets. The keycaps themselves are PBT double-shot in Cherry profile, a construction known for durability and resistance to shine over time. Media controls are accessible via the Fn key layer rather than dedicated keys, and a rotary dial is included for quick on-the-fly adjustments.
