The YUNZII AL71 is a compact 75% mechanical gaming keyboard with a standard profile and gasket mount construction, measuring 350 × 115 × 31 mm and weighing 1300 g. It supports Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz wireless, and wired USB connectivity, with a polling rate of 1000 Hz and a detachable cable included. The built-in battery is rated for up to 96 hours of use, and the keyboard is not designed specifically for Mac. It is not compatible with Mac-specific key layouts, and comes with a one-year warranty.
The YUNZII AL71 features a backlit keyboard with RGB lighting using a south-facing LED direction, and its case is built from a combination of plastic and aluminum with an aluminum plate underneath. It is available in four color options — Black, Blue, Pink, and Gray — and includes adjustable feet for typing angle customization. A wrist rest is not included in the package.
The YUNZII AL71 comes equipped with Crystal White Linear mechanical switches, offering a smooth, linear feel with an actuation force of 45 g and an actuation point of 2 mm across a total travel distance of 4 mm. The switches are hot-swappable, allowing them to be replaced without soldering.
The YUNZII AL71 does not include advanced input features such as analog input, rapid trigger, dual actuation, or adjustable actuation. It also lacks NKRO, USB passthrough, and an onboard display. On the firmware and customization side, the keyboard does not support QMK, ZMK, or VIA, meaning remapping and low-level configuration are not available through those open-source tools.
The YUNZII AL71 uses an ANSI (United States) keyboard layout with PBT double-shot keycaps in Cherry profile, offering a durable and relatively fade-resistant typing surface. The layout is not a standard keycap layout, and there is no rotary dial present. Media functions are accessible via the Fn key rather than through dedicated media keys.
