The YUNZII RT80 is a mechanical gaming keyboard in a tenkeyless (80%) layout with a standard profile, offering a compact footprint of 330 × 135 × 32 mm and a weight of 940 g. It supports three connection modes — Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, and USB — with a detachable cable included for wired use, and delivers a battery life of up to 115 hours when operating wirelessly. The keyboard runs at an 8000 Hz polling rate and uses a gasket mount construction. It is not designed for Mac, and comes with a one-year warranty.
The RT80 features a case constructed from plastic and aluminum, with an aluminum plate, and is available in both black and white colorways. It includes RGB backlighting directed south-facing, which interacts with the keycaps in a way typical of that orientation. Adjustable feet are provided to modify the typing angle, though no wrist rest is included in the package.
The RT80 comes equipped with Gateron White Hall Effect switches, offering a linear feel with a light actuation force of 30 g and a total travel distance of 4.1 mm. The actuation point is adjustable anywhere between 0.1 mm and 4.1 mm, giving users fine control over how early or late each keypress registers. The switches are hot-swappable, meaning they can be replaced without soldering.
The RT80 supports a strong set of input features, including rapid trigger, dual actuation, adjustable actuation, and analog input, making it well-suited for precision-sensitive use cases. Full N-key rollover (NKRO) ensures every simultaneous keypress is registered independently. On the other hand, the keyboard does not include USB passthrough or an onboard display, and it lacks support for QMK, ZMK, and VIA firmware customization.
The RT80 uses an ANSI (United States) layout with a standard key arrangement and double-shot PBT keycaps in an OEM profile. Media functions are accessible via the Fn key rather than dedicated keys, and there is no rotary dial on the board.
