ZTE Axon 60 Lite

The ZTE Axon 60 Lite has a standard candy-bar form factor — it neither folds nor features a rugged build, and it carries no water resistance rating. It measures 164.2 mm tall and 75.3 mm wide, with a thickness of 8.6 mm, resulting in a total volume of approximately 106.33 cm³.

The display on this device is a 6.6″ IPS LCD touchscreen running at a resolution of 720 x 1612 px, which translates to a pixel density of 267 ppi. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion, though it does not include branded damage-resistant glass, an Always-On Display mode, or support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision. There is no secondary screen, keeping the design straightforward.

The device is powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset, built on a 12 nm process with an octa-core CPU running all eight threads at 1.6 GHz, employing big.LITTLE architecture alongside Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP) for task distribution. It is paired with 4GB of DDR4 RAM at 1600 MHz and 256GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with a maximum supported memory amount of 14GB and a peak memory bandwidth of 12.8 GB/s. Graphics are handled by the Mali G57 MP1 GPU, clocked at 650 MHz with 64 shading units and one execution unit, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The SoC includes integrated LTE, TrustZone security, and integrated graphics, and operates within a 10W TDP envelope. Cache configuration consists of 128 KB L1, 2 MB L2, and 1 MB L3. Benchmark results place the chip at 371 single-core and 1391 multi-core on Geekbench 6, 313 single-core and 1175 multi-core on Geekbench 5, and a PassMark score of 2663 overall with 988 in the single-core test.

The rear camera system is a dual-lens setup combining a 50 MP and a 2 MP sensor, with apertures of f/2.4 and f/1.8 respectively, using a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus, as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is absent. Video capture tops out at 1080p at 30 fps, with slow-motion recording supported but no HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while burst mode, HDR, and in-camera panoramas are also available; raw shooting and manual shutter speed control are not. A single LED flash is present on the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash. The 8 MP front camera is a single-lens unit with no front-facing flash and is not positioned under the display, and there is no optical zoom or 3D capture capability on either camera.

The device runs Android 13 and covers a broad range of privacy controls, including clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking — though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not included. Customization options are well-represented, with theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, extra dim mode, widgets, and customizable notifications all present, while focus modes and app offloading are not supported. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, Live Text, and the ability to play games while they download. The OS also supports multi-user accounts, a child lock, offline voice recognition, voice commands, on-device machine learning, and phone tracking. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not available, and Quick Start and Wi-Fi password sharing are absent, as is a battery health check tool.

The device is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 22.5W fast charging, with a charger included in the box. Wireless charging is not available. A battery level indicator is present, keeping the user informed of remaining charge at a glance.

Audio connectivity includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack, though the device lacks stereo speakers, a built-in radio, and any high-quality Bluetooth audio codec support — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.

The device supports Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.2, and a cellular module with LTE, accommodating two SIM cards and reaching download speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s and upload speeds of up to 100 Mbit/s — though 5G is not supported. Wired connectivity is handled via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, with no HDMI output. Location capabilities include GPS and Galileo support, while the accelerometer is the only motion sensor present — a gyroscope, compass, and barometer are all absent. Security is covered by a fingerprint scanner, with no iris scanner, 3D facial recognition, or stylus included. Features such as ANT+, DLNA certification, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, crash detection, satellite SOS, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a built-in projector are not available.

The device includes a video light for use during video recording, while the display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
