The Aukey EP-B1 adopts a true wireless, in-ear design with no neckband or connecting cable between the earbuds. Weighing just 9 grams, the earbuds are rated IPX5, meaning they offer resistance against water and sweat during everyday activities. Each earbud features a stereo speaker, while wingtips, RGB lighting, a UV light, and a display are all absent from the design.
The Aukey EP-B1 handles noise reduction on two fronts, combining active noise cancellation (ANC) with passive noise isolation to cut down on unwanted ambient sound. Audio is delivered through 10 mm driver units covering a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The earbuds do not include a neodymium magnet, and there is no support for spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo.
The Aukey EP-B1 carries a rechargeable battery that delivers 5 hours of playback per charge, with the included charging case adding a further 20 hours of total battery life. A full charge takes 1 hour, and a battery level indicator lets users keep track of remaining power. Wireless charging and solar battery functionality are not supported.
The Aukey EP-B1 connects wirelessly with a maximum Bluetooth range of 10 meters, and the charging case uses USB Type-C for wired charging. The earbuds do not support fast pairing or NFC pairing, and advanced audio codecs — including AAC, LDAC, LDHC, aptX and all its variants, as well as Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast — are not available on this model.
The Aukey EP-B1 includes a practical set of everyday features, among them ambient sound mode, a mute function, voice prompts, and onboard controls placed directly on the earbuds. Fast charging is supported, and the earbuds can also function as a headset for calls. A travel bag is included in the box, and the product is backed by a 2-year warranty. In-ear detection, notification readout, an in-line control panel, a temperature sensor, and a camera remote function are not part of the feature set.
The Aukey EP-B1 is equipped with a 6-microphone array, and all microphones feature noise cancellation to help reduce background sound during calls and voice input.
