Blackview Color 6

The Blackview Color 6 has a conventional, non-folding design with no rugged build certification and no water resistance. It measures 165.7 mm tall, 76.5 mm wide, and 8.7 mm thick, with a total volume of approximately 110.28 cm³. The device weighs 199.4 g, placing it on the heavier side for a standard-format smartphone.

The Blackview Color 6 features a 6.67″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1604 px and a pixel density of 264 ppi. The panel runs at a 90Hz refresh rate with a 180Hz touch sampling rate and reaches a typical brightness of 650 nits. It is protected by branded damage-resistant glass and has no secondary screen. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or an Always-On mode.

The Blackview Color 6 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra, a 12nm chipset with 8 threads configured in a big.LITTLE arrangement running at up to 2 x 2 GHz and 6 x 1.8 GHz, with a turbo clock of 2GHz and a TDP of 5W. It is paired with 8GB of DDR4 RAM at 1800 MHz across 2 memory channels, offering a maximum bandwidth of 13.41 GB/s, along with 256GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage expandable up to 2048GB externally. Graphics are handled by the Mali G52 MP2, which features 2 execution units, 32 shading units, a turbo frequency of 950 MHz, and supports DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The SoC includes integrated LTE, TrustZone security, and 64-bit support, with cache split across 0.3MB of L2 and 1MB of L3. Geekbench 6 scores come in at 420 single-core and 1391 multi-core, while Geekbench 5 results are 350 and 1300 respectively, and the chip is built from approximately 5500 million transistors.

The Blackview Color 6 features a single-lens 50MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a CMOS sensor, supporting phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, though it lacks laser autofocus and optical image stabilization. Video capture tops out at 1080p at 30fps, with no HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording support, but slow-motion video is available. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while burst mode, HDR, timelapse, and in-camera panoramas round out the shooting options; raw capture and manual shutter speed are not supported. A single LED flash is present on the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash, and there is no front-facing flash. The 13MP front camera has an f/2.0 aperture and is a single-lens setup positioned above the display, without an under-screen placement.

The Blackview Color 6 runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera and microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not available. App tracking can be blocked, and on-device machine learning is supported. The interface offers theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes and Quick Start are absent. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, customizable notifications, and the ability to play games while they download. Multi-user support is present, along with a child lock, widgets, app offloading, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and device tracking. The OS is free and open source, but direct OS updates from the vendor are not provided, and Wi-Fi password sharing is not supported.

The Blackview Color 6 is equipped with a 5000 mAh non-removable rechargeable battery that supports 18W fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present for convenient monitoring. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not supported.

The Blackview Color 6 includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers, along with a built-in radio. None of the advanced Bluetooth audio codecs are supported, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC.

The Blackview Color 6 supports Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) alongside Bluetooth 5.0, and accommodates two SIM cards with a cellular module capable of download speeds up to 300 Mbits/s and upload speeds up to 100 Mbits/s, though 5G is not supported. Connectivity is further handled via a USB Type-C port and an external memory slot, while NFC, HDMI output, infrared sensor, and DLNA certification are absent. Location is covered by GPS with Galileo support, and the device includes an accelerometer and a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication; a gyroscope, compass, barometer, heart rate monitor, and iris scanner are not present. Motion tracking, optical tracking, ANT+, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, 3D facial recognition, a built-in projector, and a stylus are all unsupported.

The Blackview Color 6 includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, and the device does not feature sapphire glass protection or an e-paper display.
