It weighs 376 g, reflecting the reinforced construction that comes with its rugged design. The device does not support a folding form factor.

The Doogee S118 Pro uses a 6.58″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 px and a pixel density of 401 ppi, delivering a sharp and detailed image. The display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate, providing smooth scrolling and responsive interaction. It is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, offering solid resistance against scratches and accidental drops. The screen does not support HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or an Always-On Display mode, and there is no secondary screen present.

The Doogee S118 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050, a 6 nm chipset with an octa-core CPU running at 2 x 2.6 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP and 8 threads, alongside a Mali G68 MP4 GPU clocked at 950 MHz with a turbo of 900 MHz, 4 execution units, and 64 shading units. The chip integrates LTE, supports 64-bit processing, DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2, and includes TrustZone and NX bit security features. It comes with 8GB of DDR5 RAM running at 3200 MHz across 4 memory channels, expandable up to a maximum of 16GB, paired with 512GB of internal storage that can be extended up to 2TB via external memory. Benchmark results show an AnTuTu score of 387,300, a Geekbench 6 multi-core score of 2,257, and a single-core score of 936. The chipset has a TDP of 5W, a 2 MB L3 cache, and supports multithreading with integrated graphics.

The Doogee S118 Pro features a triple rear camera system with 108MP, 20MP, and 8MP sensors at apertures of f/1.9, f/1.8, and f/2.2 respectively, all using CMOS technology without a back-illuminated sensor. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is not available. The rear camera supports a wide range of manual controls including exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, along with HDR mode, burst shooting, slow-motion video recording, and in-camera panoramas, while optical zoom, RAW capture, manual shutter speed, HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, and 3D photo or video capabilities are not included. The Doogee S118 Pro runs Android 14, an open-source platform that supports multi-user operation, device tracking, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, and voice commands. On the privacy side, it offers clipboard warnings, location privacy controls, and camera and microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not available. Customization options include theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes and app offloading are not supported. The OS includes notification permissions with customizable notifications, a media picker, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, sharing intents, widgets, full-page screenshots, Live Text, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. A child lock and battery health check are also present, whereas Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not included. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not provided.

The Doogee S118 Pro is equipped with a 10800 mAh rechargeable battery that includes a battery level indicator for monitoring charge status. It supports 33W fast charging and comes with a charger included in the box. The battery is not removable, and wireless charging is not supported.

The Doogee S118 Pro includes stereo speakers and a built-in radio, covering the core audio output bases. However, it does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and none of the advanced Bluetooth audio codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported.

The Doogee S118 Pro supports 5G connectivity with a cellular module, dual SIM card slots, and Wi-Fi across three standards — Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) — alongside Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC. Wired connectivity is handled via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, and there is an external memory slot for storage expansion. Download speeds reach up to 2770 Mbits/s while upload tops out at 1250 Mbits/s. For navigation and sensing, the phone includes GPS with Galileo support, a compass, gyroscope, and accelerometer, while a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, ANT+ support, motion tracking, and optical tracking are absent. Biometric security is covered by a fingerprint scanner, though 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present. Features such as emergency SOS via satellite, crash detection, DLNA certification, HDMI output, a built-in projector, and a stylus are also not included.

The Doogee S118 Pro includes a video light to assist with recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, uses no e-paper technology, and is not fitted with sapphire glass.
