The Honor Earbuds 4 feature both active noise cancellation (ANC) and passive noise reduction, giving them two layers of sound isolation during playback. Audio is handled by an 11 mm driver unit with a frequency range spanning 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The earbuds also support spatial audio, while Dolby Atmos, Dirac Virtuo, and a neodymium magnet are not part of the specification.
Each earbud houses a 45 mAh rechargeable battery delivering up to 9 hours of playback, which drops to 5 hours when ANC is active. The charging case holds 500 mAh, extending total listening time to 57 hours combined. A full charge takes 1 hour, and a battery level indicator is included to keep track of remaining power. Wireless charging and solar power are not supported.

Controls are handled via a panel on the earbuds themselves rather than an in-line control, and a travel bag is included in the box. Notification reading, a built-in translator, a body temperature sensor, and a camera remote shutter function are not available on this model.
