Honor X7d 4G

The Honor X7d 4G features a 6.77-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1610 px and a pixel density of 261 ppi, paired with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion. The panel is protected by branded damage-resistant glass, though it does not support HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or an Always-On Display mode, and there is no secondary screen.

The Honor X7d 4G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 4G chipset, built on a 6 nm process with an octa-core CPU arrangement running four cores at 2.8 GHz and four at 1.9 GHz across 8 threads, with big.LITTLE technology in use. It is paired with 8GB of DDR4 RAM at 2133 MHz and 256GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with a maximum supported memory amount of 16GB and a peak memory bandwidth of 17 GB/s. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 610 GPU clocked at 1260 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, while integrated LTE, NX bit, and TrustZone are also present. Geekbench 6 scores sit at 473 single-core and 1510 multi-core, with Geekbench 5 returning 442 and 1787 respectively, and the chipset supports 64-bit operation throughout.

The Honor X7d 4G features a dual-lens rear camera system led by a 108 MP main sensor at f/1.8 aperture alongside a 2 MP lens at f/2.4, both using a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination or optical image stabilization. Autofocus is handled via phase detection and touch autofocus, with continuous autofocus available during video recording, while laser autofocus is absent. The rear camera records video at 1080p 30 fps and supports slow-motion recording, though HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not available. Manual controls include exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, with burst mode, HDR, timelapse, and in-camera panorama rounding out the feature set; optical zoom is not supported, nor is RAW capture or manual shutter speed. A single LED flash is present at the rear, but there is no dual-tone or RGB flash. On the front, an 8 MP single-lens camera with an f/2 aperture handles selfies, with no front-facing flash, under-display placement, or secondary front lens.

The Honor X7d 4G runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy and usability features. On the privacy side, it offers clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking protection and Mail Privacy Protection are absent. The software supports dark mode, dynamic and manual theme customization, customizable notifications with a media picker, widgets, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, and an extra dim mode for display comfort. Productivity is further aided by offline voice recognition, voice commands, on-device machine learning, app offloading, sharing intents, a child lock, multi-user support, and the ability to play games while they download. A battery health check and device tracking are also included, while Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, Quick Start, and the option to use the device as a PC are not available. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not supported, and the platform is free and open source.

The Honor X7d 4G is equipped with a 6500 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 35W fast charging, and a battery level indicator is present. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not supported.

The Honor X7d 4G has a notably limited audio feature set — it lacks a 3.5 mm headphone jack and stereo speakers, and does not support any high-quality Bluetooth audio codec, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC. A built-in radio is also absent.

The Honor X7d 4G supports Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a cellular module, though 5G is not available. It accommodates two SIM cards and connects via USB Type-C with USB 2.0. Download speeds reach up to 390 MBits/s and upload up to 150 MBits/s. For location, the device includes GPS, Galileo, and a compass, while the accelerometer handles motion sensing; a gyroscope, barometer, and infrared sensor are absent. A fingerprint scanner is present for biometric authentication, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not supported. Features such as crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, ANT+, DLNA certification, heart rate monitoring, HDMI output, motion and optical tracking, a built-in projector, and a stylus are all absent.

The Honor X7d 4G includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions, while its display is flat and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
