The iQOO TWS Air 3 adopts a standard earbud fit and operates as a true wireless design, meaning there are no cables or neckband involved. Each earbud weighs just 7.2 grams and carries an IP54 ingress protection rating, making them resistant to sweat during use. They feature stereo speakers but do not include wingtips, RGB lighting, a UV light, or a display of any kind.
The iQOO TWS Air 3 uses a 12 mm driver unit and covers a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The earbuds do not feature active noise cancellation or passive noise reduction, and there is no support for spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, Dirac Virtuo, or a neodymium magnet driver.
The iQOO TWS Air 3 offers 7 hours of battery life per charge, with the charging case extending total playback to 38 hours. A full charge takes 1.5 hours, and the earbuds include a battery level indicator to help track remaining power. The battery is rechargeable, though wireless charging and solar charging are not supported.
The iQOO TWS Air 3 connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 6 with a maximum range of 10 meters and an audio latency of 44 ms. Charging is handled through USB Type-C, and the earbuds can be used fully wirelessly. On the codec side, the TWS Air 3 does not support LDAC, LDHC, AAC, any variant of aptX, or Bluetooth LE Audio, and there is no Auracast or NFC pairing functionality. Fast pairing is also not available.
The iQOO TWS Air 3 supports multipoint connection for up to two devices at once and can be used as a headset for calls, with a mute function and voice prompts available during use. Fast charging is supported, and a control panel is placed directly on the earbuds for on-device management. A built-in camera remote control function and an included travel bag add further everyday utility. The earbuds do not offer in/on-ear detection, a find device feature, notification readout, an in-line control panel, or a body temperature sensor.
The iQOO TWS Air 3 is equipped with four microphones and includes noise-canceling microphone support, helping to reduce unwanted background sound during calls and voice interactions.
