Itel A90

The Itel A90 has a non-folding, standard-form design measuring 168.4 mm tall, 76.2 mm wide, and 8.55 mm thick, with a weight of 213 g. It carries an IP54 rating, meaning it offers a degree of protection against dust and water splashes, though it does not feature a rugged build.

The Itel A90 uses a 6.6″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1612 px and a pixel density of 267 ppi. It runs at a 90Hz refresh rate and reaches a typical brightness of 480 nits. The display does not feature branded damage-resistant glass, Always-On Display functionality, or support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no secondary screen.

The Itel A90 is powered by the Unisoc T700 chipset, built on a 12 nm process and paired with 4GB of RAM and 256GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. The octa-core CPU runs all cores at 1.8 GHz across two clusters using big.LITTLE technology, delivering 8 threads in total, while the Mali-G57 GPU operates with a turbo frequency of 850 MHz. The SoC supports 64-bit processing, integrated LTE, integrated graphics, and ARM TrustZone security.

The Itel A90 features a single-lens 13 MP rear camera with a CMOS sensor, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, backed by a single LED flash. It records video at 1080p and 30 fps and supports slow-motion recording, though there is no optical zoom, optical image stabilization, BSI sensor, or HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while shooting modes include HDR, burst, panorama, and timelapse; raw capture and manual shutter speed are not available. On the front, a 5 MP single-lens camera handles selfies without a dedicated flash and is not positioned under the display.

The Itel A90 runs Android 14 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not present. On the personalization side, it supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and Wi-Fi password sharing are not available. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, Live Text, sharing intents, app offloading, and the ability to play games while they download. The device also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, device tracking, multi-user accounts, a child lock, and a battery health check, but does not receive direct OS vendor updates and lacks a Quick Start feature.

The Itel A90 is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 15W fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is built in, while wireless charging is not supported.

The Itel A90 includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack but lacks stereo speakers, relying on a single speaker instead. There is no radio, and none of the advanced Bluetooth audio codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported.

The Itel A90 is a dual-SIM device with a cellular module, supporting Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), Bluetooth 4.2, and a USB Type-C port running at USB 2.0 speeds. Location is handled by GPS with Galileo support, and an accelerometer is present, while a gyroscope, compass, barometer, and any form of motion or optical tracking are absent. Security relies on a fingerprint scanner, as there is no 3D facial recognition or iris scanner. The device does not support 5G, NFC, DLNA, ANT+, HDMI output, external memory expansion, satellite SOS, crash detection, or an infrared sensor, and no stylus or built-in projector is included.

The Itel A90 features a video light for use during video recording, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
