The JBL Endurance Peak 4 feature an in-ear fit with wingtips included for a more secure hold, and the earbuds are fully true wireless with no cables or neckband. Weighing just 21 g, they carry an IP68 ingress protection rating, making them waterproof and suited for use in demanding environments. The design includes stereo speakers but no RGB lighting, UV light, or built-in display.
The JBL Endurance Peak 4 use a 10 mm driver unit and cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, with an impedance of 16 Ohms and a sound pressure level of 108 dB/mW. Both active noise cancellation and passive noise reduction are supported, and the earbuds are also compatible with spatial audio. Dolby Atmos, Dirac Virtuo, and a neodymium magnet are not included.
The JBL Endurance Peak 4 offer 12 hours of battery life per charge, which drops to 8 hours when active noise cancellation is in use, and the included charging case extends total playback to 36 hours. A full charge takes 2 hours, and the earbuds feature a battery level indicator so you can keep track of remaining power. The battery is rechargeable, though wireless charging and solar power are not supported.
The JBL Endurance Peak 4 connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 with a maximum range of 10 m, and fast pairing is supported for quick setup. USB Type-C is available for wired charging. The earbuds do not support advanced audio codecs such as LDAC, LDHC, AAC, or any aptX variants, and there is no Bluetooth LE Audio or Auracast functionality. NFC pairing is also not included.
The JBL Endurance Peak 4 include a range of practical features, among them ambient sound mode, a mute function, voice prompts, and an on-device control panel. Multipoint connectivity allows simultaneous pairing with up to two devices, and the earbuds can also be used as a headset for calls. Fast charging is supported, and a find-device feature is available for locating misplaced earbuds. A travel bag is included in the box. Notification readout, a built-in translator, in-line controls, a body temperature sensor, and a camera remote function are not part of the feature set.
The JBL Endurance Peak 4 are equipped with 6 microphones and include noise-canceling microphone technology to support clearer voice capture during calls and voice use.
