The JLab Go Lux ANC uses an on-ear fit and weighs 196 g, keeping the overall build relatively compact. It can be folded, which makes it easier to store, though no travel bag is included. The headphone features a detachable, tangle-free cable and houses stereo speakers within a closed-back enclosure. It does not carry any water resistance rating, and is not designed specifically for children.
The JLab Go Lux ANC is equipped with active noise cancellation and 40 mm drivers that cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. It also supports spatial audio, adding a positional dimension to playback. The headphone does not rely on a neodymium magnet and offers no passive noise reduction beyond what the on-ear fit provides on its own.
The JLab Go Lux ANC houses a built-in rechargeable battery rated at 70 hours of playback, which drops to 40 hours when active noise cancellation is enabled. It charges via USB Type-C and includes a battery level indicator so remaining charge is easy to check. Wireless charging and solar power are not supported, and the battery is not user-removable.
The JLab Go Lux ANC supports both wireless and wired connectivity, with a maximum Bluetooth range of 10 m and fast pairing for quicker device setup. NFC pairing is not available. On the codec side, the headphone does not support any of the advanced audio codecs — including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, LDAC, LDHC, or AAC — nor does it include Bluetooth LE Audio or Auracast.
The JLab Go Lux ANC can be used as a headset, equipped with a noise-canceling microphone and on-device controls for managing calls and playback. It supports multipoint connection to two devices simultaneously and includes an ambient sound mode for monitoring surrounding audio when needed. There is no in-line control panel, no automatic ear detection to pause music, and no mute function. The headphone comes with a 2-year warranty.
