It carries an IP64 rating, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and resistant to water splashes from any direction, offering a practical level of durability for everyday use.

The Moto G06 Power features a 6.88-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1640 px and a pixel density of 260 ppi, paired with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, adding a layer of resistance against everyday scratches and impacts. It does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no Always-On Display mode or secondary screen.

The Moto G06 Power is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset, built on a 12 nm process with 5,500 million transistors and a thermal design power of 5W. Its 8-core CPU uses big.LITTLE technology, running two cores at up to 2 GHz and six cores at 1.8 GHz across 8 threads, with a turbo clock of 2 GHz. The chip integrates an LTE modem and a Mali G52 MP2 GPU with 2 execution units, 32 shading units, and a turbo frequency of 950 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The device comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM running at 1800 MHz across 2 memory channels, delivering a maximum memory bandwidth of 13.41 GB/s, alongside 256GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. Cache consists of 0.3 MB of L2 and 1 MB of L3, and the processor supports 64-bit operation and ARM TrustZone security. Geekbench 6 scores sit at 420 single-core and 1,391 multi-core, while Geekbench 5 results are 350 single-core and 1,300 multi-core.

The Moto G06 Power has a single-lens rear camera with a 50 MP CMOS sensor and an f/1.8 aperture, supported by phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, though optical image stabilization and laser autofocus are absent. It records video at 1080p and 30 fps with no support for HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording, and offers slow-motion video, timelapse, burst mode, panorama, and HDR photo modes. Manual controls include exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while manual shutter speed is not available, and the camera does not shoot in RAW format or support 360-degree panoramas or 3D capture. A single LED flash is present on the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash. The front camera uses an 8 MP sensor with an f/2.1 aperture and is a single-lens unit positioned above the display, with no front-facing flash.

The Moto G06 Power runs Android 15, a free and open-source platform that supports multi-user profiles, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. Privacy features are well represented, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and app tracking blocking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not available. The OS includes dynamic theming, theme customization, dark mode, and an extra dim mode for display comfort, while customizable notifications, notification permissions, a media picker, full-page screenshots, and Live Text round out day-to-day usability. On-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and device position tracking are all supported, alongside a battery health check, app offloading, and a child lock. Focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, and the ability to use the device as a PC are not included, and OS updates are not delivered directly from the platform vendor.

The Moto G06 Power houses a 7000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery with a visible battery level indicator. It supports 18W fast charging via cable, though wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not available.

The Moto G06 Power includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and stereo speakers for audio output. It does not support any high-resolution Bluetooth audio codecs, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC, and there is no built-in radio.

The Moto G06 Power supports Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), with download speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s and upload speeds of up to 100 Mbit/s, and operates on a 4G cellular network without 5G support. It accommodates two SIM cards, has a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, and includes an external memory slot for expandable storage. NFC is present, and a fingerprint scanner handles biometric authentication, while 3D facial recognition and iris scanning are not available. For navigation, the device includes GPS with Galileo support and an accelerometer, but lacks a gyroscope, compass, and barometer. Motion tracking, optical tracking, ANT+, a heart rate monitor, an infrared sensor, an HDMI output, a built-in projector, crash detection, and emergency SOS via satellite are all absent, and the device is not DLNA-certified nor does it include a stylus.

The Moto G06 Power features a video light to assist with recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, uses neither sapphire glass nor e-paper technology.
