Oppo Find X8s

The Oppo Find X8s has a non-folding, non-rugged design measuring 150.6 mm tall, 71.8 mm wide, and just 7.7 mm thick, with a total volume of 83.26 cm³ and a weight of 179 g. It carries an IP68 rating, meaning the device is fully waterproof and well-protected against dust and sustained water immersion.

The Oppo Find X8s features a 6.32″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1216 x 2640 px and a pixel density of 460 ppi, paired with a 120Hz refresh rate and a typical brightness of 1600 nits. The display supports both HDR10 and HDR10+, and is protected by branded damage-resistant glass. It does not include an Always-On Display mode, Dolby Vision support, or a secondary screen.

The Oppo Find X8s is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset, built on a 3 nm process with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at speeds of 1 x 3.73, 4 x 3.3, and 3 x 2.4 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support. It pairs with an Immortalis G925 GPU clocked at 1300 MHz and 16 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 10667 MHz, with a maximum supported memory amount of 24 GB and a peak memory bandwidth of 85.3 GB/s. The chipset supports 64-bit processing, multithreading, integrated graphics, and integrated LTE, while the 12 MB L3 cache further aids sustained workloads. Internal storage stands at 1024 GB, and ECC memory is not supported. In benchmarks, the device scores 2880558 on AnTuTu, 8969 on Geekbench 6 multi-core, and 2874 on Geekbench 6 single-core.

The Oppo Find X8s features a triple 50 MP rear camera system with apertures of f/1.8, f/2.8, and f/2.0, optical image stabilization, 3.5x optical zoom, and a CMOS sensor. It supports 4K video recording at 60 fps with continuous autofocus, slow-motion capture, and timelapse, though HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not available. For stills, the system offers phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, burst mode, RAW shooting, panorama, HDR mode, and manual controls for exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance — manual shutter speed is not included. Two LED flash units are present, though the setup does not use a dual-tone or RGB configuration. The 32 MP front camera has an aperture of f/2.4 and is a single-lens unit positioned above the display, without a front-facing flash or under-display placement. Laser autofocus and 3D photo/video recording are not supported.

The Oppo Find X8s runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, among them clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not available. On the customization side, users have access to dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and Wi-Fi password sharing are absent. The OS supports split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, Live Text, sharing intents, app offloading, and the ability to play games while they download. Additional features include on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, multi-user support, a child lock, battery health check, extra dim mode, and device tracking. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not provided, and Quick Start is also not supported.

The Oppo Find X8s houses a rechargeable 5700 mAh battery with a built-in level indicator, and supports fast wired charging at 80W as well as wireless charging at 50W. The battery is non-removable, and reverse wireless charging is not available.

The Oppo Find X8s has stereo speakers and supports aptX and aptX HD for wireless audio over Bluetooth, though aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are not available. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack and no built-in radio.

The Oppo Find X8s supports 5G connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, while wireless networking covers Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, and 7 with a maximum download speed of 7300 Mbits/s. Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC are both present, and the device connects via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, with no external memory slot or HDMI output available. Onboard sensors include a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, GPS with Galileo support, an infrared sensor, and a fingerprint scanner, though there is no barometer, heart rate monitor, or iris scanner. The device does not support 3D facial recognition, ANT+, DLNA, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, motion or optical tracking, and no stylus is included.

The Oppo Find X8s includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions, while the display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
