The Oppo Find X8s Plus has a non-folding, standard-form design measuring 157.5 mm tall, 74.5 mm wide, and 8 mm thick, with a total volume of 93.87 cm³ and a weight of 198 g. It carries an IP68 ingress protection rating, classifying it as waterproof against dust and water immersion. The device does not feature a rugged build, so while the IP68 certification provides meaningful environmental protection, the chassis itself is not reinforced for heavy-duty use.

The Oppo Find X8s Plus features a 6.59″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1256 x 2760 px and a pixel density of 460 ppi, delivering a sharp and detailed image across the panel. The display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and reaches a typical brightness of 1600 nits. It supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision for wide-format content compatibility, and includes an Always-On Display mode along with branded damage-resistant glass for added durability. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The Oppo Find X8s Plus is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset, fabricated on a 3 nm process and paired with the Immortalis G925 GPU running at 1300 MHz. The eight-thread CPU uses big.LITTLE architecture with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing, combining one core at 3.73 GHz, four cores at 3.3 GHz, and three cores at 2.4 GHz, while supporting 64-bit processing and multithreading. It comes with 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM clocked at 10667 MHz and 1024 GB of internal storage, with a maximum supported memory amount of 24 GB and a peak memory bandwidth of 85.3 GB/s; ECC memory is not supported. The SoC includes integrated graphics and integrated LTE, and houses 12 MB of L3 cache. In benchmarks, the device scores 2,880,558 on AnTuTu, 8,969 on Geekbench 6 multi-core, and 2,874 on Geekbench 6 single-core.

The Oppo Find X8s Plus uses a triple 50 MP rear camera system with apertures of f/1.8, f/2.6, and f/2.0, backed by a CMOS sensor, optical image stabilization, 3x optical zoom, and a two-LED flash that is not dual-tone or RGB. Autofocus options include laser autofocus, phase-detection autofocus for photos, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, while manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance — though manual shutter speed is not available. The main camera supports 4K video at 60 fps, slow-motion recording, HDR mode, burst mode, RAW capture, in-camera panoramas, and timelapse; HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, and 3D or 360-degree panorama capture are not supported. On the front, a single-lens 32 MP camera sits at f/2.4 in a standard position above the display — not under-screen — and has no dedicated LED flash.

The Oppo Find X8s Plus runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking — though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not present. On the personalization side, the OS supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, Live Text, and the ability to play games while they download. The system also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, multi-user accounts, app offloading, device tracking, a child lock, extra dim mode, and a battery health check. OS updates are not delivered directly by the vendor, and the device does not support Quick Start, Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, or PC mode.

The Oppo Find X8s Plus houses a non-removable rechargeable 6000 mAh battery with a battery level indicator. It supports 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, while also offering reverse wireless charging at 10W, allowing the device to top up other compatible accessories wirelessly.

The Oppo Find X8s Plus features stereo speakers but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack and has no built-in radio. For wireless audio, it supports both aptX and aptX HD, while aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are not available.

The Oppo Find X8s Plus supports 5G cellular connectivity with a dual-SIM configuration and a maximum download speed of 7300 MBits/s. Wireless networking covers Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, and 7, while Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC are also present; there is no external memory slot, HDMI output, or DLNA certification. The USB Type-C port operates at USB 2.0 speeds. For biometrics, the device includes a fingerprint scanner, but lacks 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner. Onboard sensors include a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, GPS with Galileo support, and an infrared sensor; a barometer, heart rate monitor, ANT+ support, crash detection, satellite SOS, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a built-in projector are all absent. No stylus is included with the device.

The Oppo Find X8s Plus includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, uses no e-paper technology, and is not fitted with sapphire glass.
