The Oppo Reno14 Pro has a non-folding, non-rugged design that measures 163.4 mm tall, 77 mm wide, and 7.5 mm thick, with a total volume of 94.36 cm³ and a weight of 201 g. It carries an IP68 ingress protection rating, classifying it as waterproof and offering solid resistance against dust and water intrusion.

The Oppo Reno14 Pro features a 6.83″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a 1272 x 2800 px resolution and a pixel density of 450 ppi, backed by branded damage-resistant glass for added durability. It runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and offers typical brightness of 600 nits alongside support for both HDR10 and HDR10+. An Always-On Display mode is available, though the panel does not support Dolby Vision and there is no secondary screen.

The Oppo Reno14 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset, built on a 4 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 1 x 3.25 GHz, 3 x 3 GHz, and 4 x 2.15 GHz across 8 threads, supported by big.LITTLE and HMP technologies. It comes with 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 4267 MHz across 4 memory channels, a maximum supported memory amount of 24 GB, and 1024 GB of internal storage, while a maximum memory bandwidth of 68.2 GB/s keeps data throughput capable. Graphics are handled by the Mali G720 MC7 GPU clocked at 1300 MHz, with integrated graphics support, DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0 compatibility. The chipset also incorporates NX bit and TrustZone security features, and the platform scores 1,675,100 on AnTuTu, 6033 on Geekbench 6 multi-core, and 1571 on the single-core test. Cache consists of 1 MB L2 and 6 MB L3, with the 64-bit architecture rounding out the performance profile.

The Oppo Reno14 Pro carries a triple-lens rear camera system, with each lens resolving at 50 MP and apertures of f/1.8, f/2.8, and f/2.0 respectively, complemented by optical image stabilisation and 3.5x optical zoom. The CMOS sensors support phase-detection autofocus for stills, continuous autofocus during video, and touch autofocus, while manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is not available. Video capture reaches up to 4K at 60 fps, with slow-motion recording also supported; HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not available. Additional shooting modes include burst, panorama, and timelapse, and a single LED flash is fitted at the rear, with no dual-tone, RGB, or front-facing flash present. On the front, a single 50 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture handles selfies, with no secondary front lens, under-display placement, or front flash.

The Oppo Reno14 Pro runs Android 15, an open-source platform that supports multi-user operation, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, and voice commands. Privacy controls include clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking, Mail Privacy Protection, and Wi-Fi password sharing are not available. The interface offers theme customisation, dynamic theming, dark mode, extra dim mode, customisable notifications, and widget support, while focus modes and Quick Start are absent. Productivity is aided by split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, a media picker, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they download. Battery health check, app offloading, child lock, phone tracking, and direct access to OS updates from the vendor are part of the feature set, though the device cannot function as a PC and does not receive direct OS vendor updates.

The Oppo Reno14 Pro houses a 6200 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery with a built-in battery level indicator. It supports fast wired charging at 80W as well as 50W wireless charging, and a charger is included in the box. Reverse wireless charging is not available.

The Oppo Reno14 Pro features stereo speakers and supports both aptX and aptX HD for higher-quality Bluetooth audio, though aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are not available. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack and no built-in radio.

The Oppo Reno14 Pro supports 5G connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, with wireless networking covering Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6, and Wi-Fi 6E and a maximum download speed of 5170 Mbit/s. Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC are both present, while the USB Type-C port operates at USB 2.0 speeds; there is no external memory slot, HDMI output, or DLNA certification. Onboard sensors include a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, GPS with Galileo support, an infrared sensor, and a fingerprint scanner, though there is no barometer, heart rate monitor, iris scanner, or 3D facial recognition. Crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, ANT+ support, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a built-in projector are all absent, and no stylus is included.

The Oppo Reno14 Pro includes a video light for use during video recording, while the display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
