The QCY T17 Pro follow a true wireless, in-ear design with no cables or neckband connecting the two earbuds. They include stereo speakers but come without wingtips, so fit relies entirely on the earbud tips themselves. The design skips RGB lighting, a UV light, and any built-in display, keeping the overall look straightforward and unadorned.
The QCY T17 Pro use a 10 mm driver unit and cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Rather than active noise cancellation, the earbuds rely on passive noise reduction through their in-ear fit to block out ambient sound. They do not support spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo, and the driver does not use a neodymium magnet.
The QCY T17 Pro earbuds offer 7 hours of battery life, with the charging case adding a further 28 hours of total playback. A full charge takes 1.5 hours, and a battery level indicator lets users keep track of remaining power. The battery is rechargeable, though wireless and solar charging are not supported.
The QCY T17 Pro connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3, with a maximum range of 10 m and an audio latency of 60 ms. They do not support fast pairing, NFC pairing, AAC, LDAC, LDHC, or any variant of aptX, including aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice. Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast are also absent from the feature set.
The QCY T17 Pro support fast charging and can function as a headset, with controls placed directly on the earbuds and voice prompts to provide audio feedback. A mute function is also on board, and a travel bag is included in the box for portability. On the other hand, the earbuds lack ambient sound mode, in-ear detection for auto-pausing, a find-device feature, notification readout, an in-line control panel, a built-in translator, a temperature sensor, and a camera remote shutter function.
The QCY T17 Pro are equipped with a noise-canceling microphone, which helps reduce unwanted background sound during calls or voice input.
