The Tronsmart OpenFly 2 Pro feature an open-ear fit and a fully true wireless design with no cables or neckband, weighing just 17.6 g. Wingtips are included to help keep the earbuds in place, and stereo speakers are built into the design. They carry an IPX5 rating, making them water resistant and capable of handling splashes and perspiration. RGB lighting, a display, and UV light are not part of the design.
The OpenFly 2 Pro use 12 mm drivers and cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. They do not include active noise cancellation or passive noise reduction, meaning ambient sound passes through freely — which aligns with their open-ear design. Spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, Dirac Virtuo, and neodymium magnet technology are not part of the audio setup.
The OpenFly 2 Pro offer 10 hours of battery life per charge, with the charging case providing an additional 30 hours, bringing the total available playtime to 40 hours. The earbuds take 1.5 hours to fully charge and support fast charging, though wireless charging and solar power are not available. A battery level indicator is included, and the battery is rechargeable.
The OpenFly 2 Pro connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with a maximum range of 10 meters. They charge through a USB Type-C port, and pairing is handled through standard Bluetooth — fast pairing and NFC pairing are not supported. On the codec side, the earbuds do not support AAC, LDAC, LDHC, aptX in any of its variants (including aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, or aptX Voice), Bluetooth LE Audio, or Auracast.
The OpenFly 2 Pro support fast charging and can be used as a headset for calls, with a mute function available and voice prompts to provide audio feedback. Controls are handled through a panel placed on the earbuds themselves rather than an in-line control on a cable. A travel bag is included in the box. The earbuds do not offer ambient sound mode, in-ear detection for auto-pause, a find-device feature, notification readout, a body temperature sensor, or a built-in camera remote.
The OpenFly 2 Pro include a four-microphone setup with noise-canceling microphone technology, aimed at reducing unwanted background sound during calls and voice use.
