Ulefone Armor 28 Pro

The Ulefone Armor 28 Pro features a rugged build with an IP68 ingress protection rating, confirming full waterproof capability. The device measures 174.2 mm in height, 83.6 mm in width, and 19.4 mm in thickness, with a total volume of 282.52 cm³. It weighs 450 g and does not support a folding form factor.

The display is a touch-enabled OLED/AMOLED panel measuring 6.67″ with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 px and a pixel density of 395 ppi. It operates at a 120Hz refresh rate and a 480Hz touch sampling rate, while typical brightness reaches 600 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and supports HDR10, though HDR10+ and Dolby Vision are not supported. A secondary screen with a resolution of 340 x 340px is also included, and the device does not support HDR10+ or Dolby Vision recording.

The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, built on a 4 nm process with 6,200 million transistors, and features an octa-core CPU running at 4 x 2.5 GHz and 4 x 2 GHz using big.LITTLE technology with HMP support across 8 threads. It is paired with 16GB of DDR5 RAM at 6,400 MHz — the maximum supported memory — alongside 512GB of internal storage. The Mali G615 MC2 GPU clocks at 1,047 MHz, supports DirectX 12, handles one display output, and benefits from integrated graphics. Benchmark results include an AnTuTu score of 2,300,000, a Geekbench 6 single-core result of 1,026, and a multi-core result of 2,932. The chipset also integrates LTE, and the platform supports 64-bit processing.

The rear camera system uses three lenses with resolutions of 64 MP, 50 MP, and 50 MP at apertures of f/1.8, f/1.9, and f/2.2 respectively, and records video at up to 2160 x 30 fps. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus, as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, while laser autofocus is not present. The CMOS sensor does not feature back-side illumination, and optical image stabilization is absent; optical zoom stands at 0x. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is not available. Additional shooting modes include HDR, burst, and in-camera panorama, while slow-motion recording, timelapse, 360° panorama, RAW capture, HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, and 3D recording are not supported. Flash is handled by a dual-tone LED setup with four LEDs, though an RGB flash is not included. The 50 MP single-lens front camera sits at f/2.5, has no front-facing flash, and is not positioned under the display.

The device runs Android 15, a free and open-source platform that supports multi-user profiles, device tracking, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and on-device machine learning. Privacy features include clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not available. Customization options cover theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, extra dim mode, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and Wi-Fi password sharing are not supported. The OS also includes a media picker, full-page screenshots, Live Text, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, sharing intents, a child lock, app offloading, battery health check, and the ability to play games while they are downloading. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not available, and the device cannot function as a PC or use Quick Start.

The device houses a rechargeable 10600 mAh battery with a built-in level indicator, and supports wired fast charging at 120W. Wireless charging is available at 50W, and reverse wireless charging is also supported at 5W, allowing the device to charge other compatible accessories. The battery is not removable.

The device includes a 3.5 mm audio jack for wired headphones and a built-in radio. For wireless audio, it supports LDAC, while aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless are not available. Stereo speakers are not present.

The device supports 5G connectivity with download and upload speeds of 3,270 MBits/s, and accommodates two SIM cards alongside an external memory slot. Wi-Fi coverage spans Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, 6E, and 7, and Bluetooth 5.4 is on board along with NFC. The USB Type-C port operates at USB 2.0, and there is no HDMI output. Sensors include a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, barometer, GPS with Galileo support, and an infrared sensor, while a fingerprint scanner handles biometric authentication. Motion tracking, optical tracking, 3D facial recognition, and an iris scanner are not available, nor is a heart rate monitor, ANT+ support, or a built-in projector. Emergency SOS via satellite, crash detection, and DLNA certification are also absent, and no stylus is included.

The device includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, and neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper display are featured.
